वास्तविकता यह थी कि तथाकथित बौद्ध धर्म जैसा कोई धम्म कभी था ही नही, यह तो एक नवीन पंथ था। सिद्धार्थ गौतम ने वही शिक्षा दी जो उपनिषदों में निहित था उसी को उन्होंने नये रूप में आगे बढ़ाया। अशोक के समय तक यह पन्थ मगध के आसपास ही सीमित था लेकिन अशोक ने कलिंग युद्ध के बाद बौद्ध पन्थ को राजनीतिक फायदे के लिए संरक्षण दिया और इसका प्रचार प्रसार किया। सातवी आठवी शताब्दी आते आते इसके तथाकथित अनुयायी मांस, मदिरा, मैथून पर बल देने लगे इसमे तंत्रवाद बढ़ा जो वज्रयान कहलायी अपने मूलरूप से हट कर कनिष्क के समय महायान के उदय ने मूर्तिपूजा, मठ आदि पर जोर दिया यही कारण था की लोगों का इससे मोह भंग हुआ और इसका पतन हुआ, आज स्थिति यह है कि इस पंथ को मानने वाले जो बुद्ध की शिक्षाओं को वास्तव में मानते थे समाप्त हैं जिन्हें कभी "हीनयानी" कहा जाता था।

Chakravarti king harshwardhan thaneswar and chakravarti king kanishka belong to ror , this was the warrior class that had been indulged in war activities, ror's closest brothers are jat they were farmer community who were settled on land and ror which was the royal one gave them protection from other attacks and went on many wars to defeat other kings, ror dynasty had a great influence all over india but it mainly ruled northwest region / sindhu ghaati,roruka city was the main city at that time which is present day in pakistan but this class saw decline too due to unethical war practice from opposition and traitory from fellow contemporary kings from different class,with current data, its known that ror ruled sindhu ghati from 450 bc to 489 ad and from there they then shifted towards haryana and it spreaded there too by king harshwardhan , they even helped maratha in 1761 war but some political players started to call ror as maratha spreading marathavaad but later its proved by the journal published on human genetics based on ror people that it has no connection with marathi people hence disproving their claim, its population is around 750k in current times mostly in haryana. Ror are real aryans and you can see why ror population is less and jat population in over 1 crore because ror ( वैदिक काल क्षत्रिय) were the ones to go on war.
