This is splendid every family related failings are portrayed from bad parenting, unfair treatment between siblings, turning siblings against each other, too proud father, betrayal. The texts are well written making us understand the true issues inside a family, watching this helps me to understand similar problems with my father. I don't like the Asian mentality that always gives reason to parents, even if bad parenting. Maybe Asian parents are always good, i doubt it.

Akbar was born in umarkot ( present day pakistan) which was part of Hindustan that time. It was not akbar mistake that india and pak got divided. Don't understand why he called as foreigner. same with his grandson shahjahan who was born in Lahore ( present day Pak). you may like him or not but cannot deny the fact that Akbar was very successful as a king but he was failed as a Father. His all sons especially jahanggir were spoilt.
