This song is a classical song with classical dance. It shows the dedication towards lord Shiva and lord Shiva pleases them with rain because in the movie rain does not fall in their place so for rain they perform powerful rituals and the priest's perform the powerful rituals and it's called 'yajna' or 'homam' or ,etc as we Indians call it in different ways. Also the dancing form of Shiva is called 'Nataraja Avatar' and the song when lord Nataraja is dancing called 'Shiva tandava'. Lord Shiva dances for his beloved wife 'Devi Parvathi' to show love and affection. Also the people who were wearing full yellow were in maalaa and it's a way to show dedication and affection towards lord Shiva. Maalaa is of many ways and has many rules to follow. It should be followed for certain amount of days it may be for 41 days or more or less and in maalaa people shouldn't wear footwear even when they are outside and they shouldn't sleep on the bed they should sleep on the floor and while before eating food they should offer it to God but they should also fast for and they can only eat once a day but it's according to their mental ability but they should fast for the cartain amount of days and also one more thing that people should keep tika tilak on forehead representing their specific God. There are many maalaa's like Ayyappa Swami maalaa which we should wear full black and we should call them 'Swami' because it is a sign of respect and represents lord Ayyappa Swami, Swaminarayan maalaa which is full white and we should call them 'Bhagatji' as it is also a sign of respect and Swaminarayan maalaa is the traning level to become a saint of Lord Swaminarayan and we shouldn't touch the people wearing Swaminarayan maalaa , Anjaneya Swami maalaa (Hanuman maalaa) which is full orange and we should also call the 'Swami' as it is also a sign of respect and Anjaneya Swami is another name for Lord Hanuman as we people in Andhra Pradesh as well as Telangana (Hyderabad) call Lord Hanuman, Bhavani maalaa which represents Devi Durga which we should wear full red and we should call them 'Bhavani' because it shows a sign of respect towards them as they're performing maalaa and still there are many maalaa's, etc. There's still alot of depth information but I can't cover all of that sorry :( 😔.
