1) Engine cover - i agree with your point. 2) Rear seat space - i disagree.No 3 healthy adults can sit comfortably in any compact SUV. Even in creta, sitting three at the back isn't that comfortable. 3) The boot latch - i disagree. I didn't face such issue till now. 4) Battery - it's not even a issue anymore in 2020 Ecosport and 2019 onwards model cuz they are giving a bigger battery. So you cannot generalise it for every Ecosport. 5) Night rear visibility - it's got reflectors in the back, tail lights and number plate lights so it's acceptable and you compared it with Ertiga in the video, well it was better than ertiga and a little equal to Swift. Ford's engineers aren't dumb. A lot of R and D takes place in making of vehicle and ford especially do a large investment on its cars in R and D. 6) Bottle storage - The slot in which it slid isn't meant for bottle storage. its umbrella Holder 😂. For bottle storage there is another slot. and my 1 litre bottle fits right in em. i didn't face such issues. it depends upon the bottle design. The particular bottle you are holding has a broader base. kisi car holder m fit ni aayega 1 litre wali m. 7) Diesel auto - maybe its for some but i personally prefer manual cuz uska maza hi alag hai. 8) City/ hills performance - like seriously?😂😂😂 clutch plate is heavy?. drove ford Figo 1st gen for 9 yrs. it was a lil heavy in figo but it wasn't that hard. and now, in Ecosport Diesel its light. no issues at all. Performance in hills - it depends upon the driving skills. you cannot blame the car for that. 9) Gear ratios - maybe it's a problem or maybe not. So basically, there are only 2 - 3 negatives. Half of the negative points are irrelevant. It cannot be generalized for Ecosport.

Driving skills par work karo apni 😂. Me and my friends have gone there. No issue faced. Sirf aap hi ni gaye ho waha😂 6) Again every car has it's own driving characteristic. Harr car same ni chalti hai. Driving school m naam likhwalo ek kaam karo. 7) Aisi dumb and misleading videos banana chodh do. Ecosport has it's negatives but not all that you mentioned zabardasti. You aren't the only one jiske pass Ecosport hai😁. 8) Kal bhi baat hui thi issi baarein m group par and aapke saamne bhaisn ke aage bin bajane jaisa hisaab hai. 9) sell your car😁

Few downsides are there like R17 alloy wheels, hard clutch, low visibly due to huge sidewall during cornering, low punch at second gear. Apart from these problems Ecosport is best micro suv “even today it is smallest micro SUV aim India” and remember this car is four seated bcz compact size expected by consumers. 👍

Only major problems i faced with ecosport is stiff suspension bcoz of bad roads in hills and city. Sometimes take diversion roads in highway. Rear seat passengers complain a lot bcoz of hard suspension. Apart frm this car is a gem and its a drivers car. Have claimed very steap roads in Kodaikanal without any issues. Only thing is we have to raise the rpm to 2k before releasing the clutch when turbo kicks in it can claimb any hill roads…

No, please dont blame without facts. I do agree 2 or 3 disadvantages. But most of your points are irrelevant. I am using 2019 Ecosport. Hills driving - I always prefer Gudalur and Gundalpet route to Bangalore, driving is bliss. So if you don't know how to manage the gears in hills area, obviously you will struggle in any vehicle. So please dont spread this kind of wrong messages in public platform.

@@dr.bikash2389 Exactly, please test drive atleast 15KM in highway, you can feel the difference. Hills drive - If you drive in correct gear, it's really bliss mine is already clocked 13K KM and almost 3K KM in hills areas. So don't go with biased messages or reviews. You decide after test drive.

Except 2 or 3 negatives, rest of them are created to stretch the video little longer. Water bottle thing is so funny.. if water bottle falls out of the slot while breaking that easily, then your driving has some problem. Never encountered in 2.5 years of ownership. The bottle shape used is awkward too. Also please understand that NO COMPACT CROSS OVER IS 5 SEATER(full size). Others may have better width for 4 adults and 1 kid but never a 5 seater. Gear ratios are not a problem at 50-60kmph, as the engine has very less lag, same with hill drive too, right rpm has to be maintained. Battery has issues?? Lollll Please don't create negatives just to make a video and get views.

Agree on some of your Points: It's a 4 seater SUV. Not enough space for 3 Adults in rear seat. Ground Clearance also should be at par with Nexon of 209 mm.

You mentioned that low end torque is less. Now ecosport diesel comes with 100 hp and 215 NM of torque which is enough for good driver to take this compact SUV on hilly road. Do you know before Toyota Innova crysta, all other Innova models had diesel engine which produced only 100 hp and 200 NM of torque and that too the vehicle was 8 seater vehicle and have seen many of these Innovas with full load descending steep hills without much efforts. It all depends on driver.

I have Titanium + diesel . I didn't have any issue with battery. But I changed my tire 4 times. R17. Same problem with Trunk door. Turning radius is high. Clutch is always tight. Apart from these disadvantages there are so many advantages in Ecosport.

I would not recommend the diesel version of eco sport. I bought a BS6 Tdci titanium in last August 2020 and I had powerloss issue and the first two gears and are shaky while shift the first 2 gears. The dealer said that the software will fix the issue but that did not and also Was recommended to change engine oil/filter in just 5000 kms instead of 10,000 kms. The power loss is literally frustrating in the city driving conditions. Now the dealer says that they received a big package from factory to replace and they asked me to leave the vehicle for 4 days to fix the issues. I have asked them to explain about what they gonna do on my vehicle for 4 days…It hurts really if they touch my engine within 8000 miles. The CRM of the company is asking ‘ why you chose diesel sir ..you should have chosen petrol’.
