Intellectually J Said Deepak comes out as one of the rare gems India Produced. We are blessed to be in this era where we can hear J Sai Deepak Live -- I have been listening to Sai Deepak since 2016 -- BUT I have a major worry -- That is --- is his wisdom is going in vain ? Is Indians policy makers are sensitive to what he is saying ?.. Or our steel structure IAS cadre is busy in doing what they are best at Procrastination Or do not do anything so that only product coming out of bureaucracy is legal corruption -- India is highly divisive country and more so after independence -- there is no place for merit in this country and there are court verdicts on this subject " What is merit " .. Increasing people are attracted to do large scale corruption right from the beginning of their career and UPSC aspirants now chose IRS over IAS as IRS is corruption ready cadre like sweet shop .. We are in the hands of very very bad people - Only place some resemblance of equality is only in cremation ground -- I mean it .. My generation who got education on 1980s till 2000 ( 20 years ) spoiled this country beyond repair.. There is nothing we can pass on from my generation to next generation --

Gandhiji is not a national idol. He is only a personal idol. The term Secularism which is incorporated in our constitution signifies only appeasement. It is in fact and reality protecting, promoting and perpetuating this appeasement and there by the colonial mindset. For example a secular advertisement takes every care to avoid anything and everything that reflects Hindu culture. The management's of Christian convents clearly know what is seculaism. They never permit bindi or deeksha kankan to hands. For them secularism means the people of the minority religions gradually should feel guilty of their individual cultures and (religions)should hide and give up gradually but totally their original identity to qualify themselves to the expectations of the majority religions(cultures) in the world. The minorities in India are identifying themselves with the majority cultures i.e Arabic or Western and the majority in India are feeling guilty ( rather forced to feel guilty) of their religious and cultural identity for being minorities in the world. This's the appeasement perpetuated in the name of secularism. This approval seeking nature of Hindus has been carefully, systematically and successfully inculcated in our minds during the post independence congress rule, strategically. It is a major hurdle in the process of the decolonialisation of Bharatheeyas' mindset. India is not Bharat. Decolonialised India is Bharat. India changing into Bharat has lots of resistence from every corner and will prove to be an impractical idea. Bharat realising and accepting its original Bharateeya identity by giving up its approval seeking tendency to throw away its cover of Indian identity is a practical and feasible idea. The methods which help us realise and proudly accept our Hindu or Bharateeya identity are to be sorted out and adopted on war footing. Templates necessary for them should be prepared and made available to break this colonial programme made for our Hindu mind. Those who are still carrying the baggage of either Islamic rule or British rule are misfits into the Indian political system as they cannot represent the majority. These exclusivist minority parties of India can only produce seperatist leaders not national and nationalist leaders. Bringing them under uniform civil code immediately will drag them out of their exclusivism making them useful citizens.

Unless sanatanis demonstrate tenacity thru street protests, without depending on BJP and it's related outfits like RSS who have their own agenda, they will not be seriously taken. Such demonstration offered during quit India movement and later under Anna Hazare. Sanatanis have to prove they can stage dharnas at will and sustain for days if need be. While I concur with nearly everything you say, I think you have laid too much emphasis on the two names of our country. While Bharat alone is sufficient, there are many countries that have more than one name. A name for the outside world and a name to use within. Take Japan for example: the Japanese do not use the word Japan when speaking among themselves, they use Nihon. However, when speaking to an outsider or in English, they call their country, Japan. They have different names for different countries in their own language. China is Chou-goku, Korea is Kankoku etc., When speaking in Hindi, I naturally refer to our country as Bharat. The preponderance of English in our society has cemented the name of India more solidly than Bharat.

Exactly. Youe last line gets to the crux. The new generation should be more familiar and comfortable with the word Bharat than India. While we call it India when introducing it to a foreigner or on a foreign platform i think we should call it Bharat within our own country including in oficial statements. When India was an idea Bharat was an entity, Now India is a country but Bharat is overall an ideology, a civilization, a vision . Gandhi was replicating what he did in SA viz asking the colonial power to treat Brown's equally through peaceful protests. Remember he didn't even take the cause of blacks. At no stage he envisioned political independence for India. Home rule which he aspired for , was only about Macaulay brown sahibs extending their presence from bureaucracy to legislature and the executive. That's why he found himself out of depth and became a glorified guest actor when quit India movement took roots in 1942 and leaders like Bose rooted for overthrowing the rule by force. Congress essentially being a party of brown sahibs , only showed its political vileness in pushing on with the quit India movement which had gathered steam thanks to the spontaneous outburst of millions of patriotic Indians across the country. Congress was determined to stake it's claim to political power as and when achieved by people power . Once the power was achieved, it was back to its ways of ruling as a brown sahib will do - destroy cultural roots, glorify west, divide n rule etc. There was no ideology or cause it stood for , even after witnessing the partition on religious basis, the radicalism of Islam and the gory riots. Only thing mattered was sustaining power through deceit and it did it well. Sad to say neither Savarkar and hindu mahasabha nor rss or patel positioned themselves uniquely to wean away the Indian masses from Congress with a clear articulation of indic renaissance. BJP to this day demonstrates this verisame intellectual and administrative bankruptcy and is fast congressifying literally and figuratively.

JSD is mostly correct about Gandhi. However, Gandhi was more of a saint than politician. Had he been politician he would have hankered for positions and fought elections. He didn’t want Congress to fight elections while Motilal Nehru,Chittaranjan Das and Vithalbhai Patel wanted to fight elections. These people floated Swarajya Party and there was chance Congress could break up. Gandhi agreed so as to avoid Congress break up. Issue was that Gandhi was imposing sainthood on others. This led to problems which JSD highlights.
