Amalgamation adjustment in merger method method is cause of general reserve balance But in star given below it's diff between share capital issued and amount of share capital of transferee company

Bro, the amount of share capital issued by the company is basically the net assets like all assets - liabilities is capital only right So no major difference

You should only include premium if the question said shares issued at 110 or 120 so and so rates Here they have just mentioned the amount paid to preference share holders in premium not shares issued at premium So we do not account for premium here
