Tumbbad is.. undoubtedly one of the best movies... But my unpopular opinion is... After Watching it 5 times.. is that Tumbbad is not a horror.. it's a Dark Fantasy drama.. RGV's Raat and Bhoot are the ones I would call Horror..

I do relate with most of your reviews but Bhediya, although not perfect or completely original, was entertaining through the first 2 acts. Climax suffered with the lack of formidable antagonist. And I do agree with the Love angle point. It was forced and unnecessary. But still it was a good one time watch.

Well, yes they can make a romantic movie with fantasy elements like 1990s Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore stared Ghost.. but the thing is that Ghost was marketed as a more romantic movie than Fantasy... Movies like Bhramastra and Bhediya are sold as Superhero/fantasy but are actually romance.. thats where bollywood loses..

One Important Thing is Stree Had Raj & DK Behind The Scenes, So To Top That Film Will Be Very Difficult In Script & Screenplay. And After Their Fallout With Dinesh Vijan, It will be tough to replicate the writing of stree.

Watched this movie today in theater , it was fun to watch so can try it atleast once. Abhishek Banerjee stole the show. Twist in the end regarding Vishaanu was quite surprising. I was expecting Sharad Kelkar's more screen time though. Overall I can give 6.5/10

May be its new to North India belt, but calling it epic or Oscar worthy is truely stupidity. Thumbaad was much superior movie. 30+ minutes in kantara middle half can be cut, lame love story, dragged plot n boring forest escape scene. N only for 20+ minutes epic acting people over hyped it I am done with stupidity in today's heard mentality.

I would say that this movie is just a one time watch and wish they should have explored more of the Wolf Curse's folklore in the village of Purvanchal Pardesh plus they should have cut some songs. Stree was also better because of exploring mythology around its Maalebaa folklore, Bhediya movie would have been Stree-level good if Raj and DK were attached to the writing process of this film. And now I am worried about Stree 2 coz Raj and Dk are not attached to the sequel

I think this movie is loosely based on Red Riding Hood 2011, which itself is not a very highly rated movie. I will still watch this movie as it at least look charming and guilty pleasure like. I hardly ever watch any Bollywood movie so it would be a refreshing change for me.

I waited so long for Bollywood to make a genuine and scary werewolf movie based around a folklore but they have made a mockery out of it. I was really excited when I saw the teaser and the fact that it was shot in Arunachal Pradesh. Isse achcha toh I would've watched ' An American werewolf in London', ' Dog Soldiers' or the classic 1987 American TV show ' Werewolf' again. Stree was much better and that's just my opinion.

I think films like Gangubai, Jug Jug Jeeyo, Bhediya, Brahmastra, Raksha Bandhan, Laal Singh Chaddha, Dhokha, Kashmir Files etc are fantastic this year!! We've nowadays criticising too much!! Bollywood movies like these are still fantastic and loved them!! Same for Bhediya, it's a fantastic film!!

Many people will be say bollywood is not making good film nowadays and all they do is nepotism And doesn't support our hindi bollywood movies. I understood that if some movies are not good we can say okay but if bollywood is trying to do something new why people are not supporting. I understand that mistake is there in movie but can be just ignore and appreciate what good they did. Two things Bollywood needs to do away with to make their movies better. 1. Songs Really not needed in some genres especially horror/thriller/suspense movies. Rather than songs they should shift to proper BGMs for such movies. 2. Love Stories Again not every movie needs a love subplot. As we move to fantasy/sci-fi genres Bollywood needs to re evaluate this love angle trope that has been there for decades. It's ok for characters to have a love interest but the focus needs to shift to character's personal journey rather than always showing love overcoming everything. South movies have understood this and hence why they are producing better movies these days. Bollywood had better get with the times soon or they will keep declining until the industry just becomes bankrupt

Sir I have watched it in IFFI 2022 and there might be a chance that because of the presence of Varun Dhawan I would have created a bias.... But overall I have personally enjoyed it a lot...The whole theatre was laughing at regular intervals.... Cameo of Himesh Reshamiya 😅😅😅😅.... It could have been better but in terms of entertainment it does have a good value.

Just watched Bhediya yesterday.. and trust me.. if you haven't watched I yet.. expect only comedy from the movie... It wasn't a bad movie but genre is bit confusing... started as a werewolf horror, turned comedy then climax and Post credit made it a Superhero movie 🤣
