On November 15, 2024, at approximately 10:00 PM, the Rangpo Police Station informed the International Human Rights Council, Sikkim State regarding a woman in need of assistance and shelter.
With the support of the Rangpo Police, she has been brought to IHRC Shelter home at around 11:30 PM.
The rescued individual is a middle-aged woman who appears to be mentally challenged. She is unable to share details about her identity, place of origin, or family.
She has been safely taken to the IHRC Shelter Home located in Kerabari, Sangkhola, where she is currently being cared for.
