Jody is correct, you can come from the hood but take a different path in life. You can grow up with the dope boys, shooters, and killers but decide not to be part of the problem. It's all about choices. We all have options.
@slim60882 жыл бұрын
Yeah that was me i had a choice, but a lot of my friends did not. It was either sell dope or not to eat at 10 yrs old. Mama sold all the food stamps for crack. By the time he graduated he had sale charges n went to prison. So it was either starve n wear his sisters clothes until he graduated or sell dope eat n go to jail eventually. All of us dont have options out here, some of us do what we have to just to survive
@mr.reliable81232 жыл бұрын
@@slim6088 It aways options fam. You (not you literally) just have to be humble to accept mentorship from some examples of people doing well in life, legally. Everyday that we wake up, we have another opportunity to get to it. Problem is, people want it all at once. It takes time when you're on the grind. We all can level up and become better versions of ourselves...the hustle just gotta be in you. Everybody's hiring these day, so I call b.s. on excuses.
@Strongmentality122 жыл бұрын
I did, living everybody around me was in bullshit growing up. I CHOSE not to follow that path. So if you follow another path and energy be prepared to meet it one day. This life is chess not checkers 🤷🏾

The rappers today are known more for beefing than their music. This is why once a rapper dies everyone forgets about him and they move on to the next rapper.
