I was last in Kathmandu in 1983. Im amazed to see how developed it is! Look! all the emerald green rice paddies have disappeared into tall houses! What will people eat? Desks! Bookcases! Notebooks! Lace curtains in the windows! Bay windows! spiral staircases! Wow! The new notebooks with the holes in the binding to pull them out with! Computers! Printers! Wow! A lot of development in a very short time! And monks involved in social work for Great Compassion's sake! Best of all! I hope you are able to branch out throughout Nepal with a network of helping services for poor people everywhere. Hostels, food services, health clinics, old age homes, etc. So wonderful! and so very much needed next to birth control. Just offering food and showers to people so that they can be clean could help everyone so much to feel better, to have a little hope.
