What a coincidence. Just this morning, Mr. Advani’s name popped into my consciousness out of nowhere. I remember buying a pair of shoes from his store in Bombay in 1956. I was visiting India with my parents and I was 8 years old. I now live in So. Calif and I am 75 years old (will be 76 in April) and retired. I still remember wearing those comfortable shoes. Thanks for the memories.

A slight correction. He had named himself 'Buddo' which, in Sindhi means someone with no teeth which he did not have since childhood. I would often see him sitting at the entrance to his son's building 'Avinash' near seven bunglow bus depot. Infact one of his grandson living there looked exactly like him. Two pictures you didn't mention in this video. Madhumati where he was an exorcist. And a very fine and significant Sindhi picture ABANA with Sheila Ramani and Sadhana who made her debut.
