She is 100% correct. Working couples must understand each other and the husband must work inside and outside the home equally -- it is a shared responsibility of both towards their family. Bhumi is as good in her role of a journalist+wife as in her previous works.

Men should definitely do their part in kitchen. Even a woman who has house helpers may not understand how much time consuming it is and how much effort it takes to cook food ( cleaning before and after... cutting... chopping ... sequentially cooking each item etc. Its not some european bread and butter). For both genders... if u dont involve urself in home chores... u will clueless order around and hurt the one who does it. U see the typical patriarchal situation in this scene were the man is oblivious to her mood and pain and orders for food. The guy is right on his stance. The woman is somewhat right on her stance. Imagine waiting for your wife so you can eat dinner with her and she comes home and starts throwing a fit. On the other hand, the guy could have ordered food or could have cooked something if needed. I feel like these types of arguments and expectations can be prevented by understanding one another. I haven't watched the movie, but it looks like she is spending her valuable time for an important cause. But she should also understand and care for her husband and family. Seems like she is way more invested in her work rather than her husband. She is not doing anything wrong in regards to work. But with communication, it can make the relationship better. A husband has his rights, and his wife has her rights. All can be adjusted and worked on. Takes time and understanding The last thing a guy wants is to come home and not have food ready on the table. It is how we are wired. But again these things can be adjusted if both spouses are working. Gotta control the ego. There shouldn't be an ego in a relationship. But this is a movie but also a way to spread awareness.
