XXI.V.MMXXIII is the day Devi tied us together to set us free. A wedding which is beyond my understanding. Priyanka and I will always be grateful to everyone present there and to all the volunteers who made this happen for us.
Marriage rituals done in the presence of Linga Bhairavi Devi at Isha Foundation is designed by Sadhguru to weave Devi’s Grace into a couple’s life.
Here is the glimpse of the most significant day of our lives, Bhuta Shuddhi Vivaha (भूत शुद्धी विवाह), XXI.V.MMXXIII, at Linga Bhairavi, Isha Yoga Centre, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
“There is certain beauty in two lives trying to merge into one. To think beyond yourself, to feel beyond yourself, to accommodate another is also a stepping stone for the ultimate union. Vivaha is a certain form of consecration for marriages. This is a very ancient form, its origin is in the yogic system, where the fundamental process is Bhuta Shuddhi, which means having knowledge and mastery over the magic of the five elements. The whole system of yoga is focused on this. In this Bhuta Shuddhi we want them to achieve a union beyond thought, companionship, emotion, body, on an elemental level.” - Sadhguru

Even if everyone cannot have their wedding rituals at Isha foundation, everyone should perform all the rituals with such a calm pious and attentive mindset instead of just a celebration and show off kind of mode
