Hum 80,000 bhutani hinduo ke paas citizenship nahi hai, chini gayi hai Bhutan raja dwara, koi naukari bhi nahi milti citizenship id na ho toh. Koi andar ka journalists hamara interview nahi leta. Videshi journalist ko enter paana mushkil hai. NGOs bhi nahi hai, Kya kare, kisko apna dard sunaye hum. Sab videsi ko yehi lagta hai ki Bhutan me sab khush hai. Humare liye koi nahi khada, agar yeh baat kisi fellow Bhutanese ko kaho toh ulta hame hi gaale karte hai. Government officials se baat karo toh sunne se hi inkaar kar dete hai, kuch bolte hai yeh sab raja ke haath me hai, hum kuch nahi kar sakte. Indian Hindu sarkar bhi sirf raja aur Royal family ko hi Bhutan maanti hai, logo ko nahi. It should have been Bhutan, not Sikkim, I don’t know about Sikkim, but Bhutan was historically part of India, it was part of kamrupa kingdom under vermin dynasty from 200 Ad to 600 AD. After that Indian kings ruled small parts of Bhutan, Sindhu raja and other Indian kings kings ruled Bhutan. By than the ruling Tibetan class hadn’t even step their foot in Bhutan. Later Tibetan refugees came from Tibetan after they were expelled from Tibet due to being dissidents there. They came to Indian subcontinent land Bhutan and asked refuge to Sindhu raja, who felt pity on them and gave them refuge but they later they killed/chased out those Indian kings and their disendents and established their Tibetan rule in the green land of Indian subcontinent by those Tibetan desert people

Unlike tribal communities of north east which follow Indian culture in many ways, the people of Bhutan are more similar to tibet in terms of clothing, food, ethnicity and beliefs. Even the ruling class of sikkim is culturally different from India but British brought gorkha community to sikkim who follow hindu religion and culture which makes sikkim more culturally similar to India.

First known king of Bhutan so far is Indian king Sindhu raja. When Indian Buddhist monk padmashambha(guru rimpoche) visited Bhutan, Indian king was ruling Bhutan. Tibetan migrant ruling class of Bhutan hadn’t even step their foot in Bhutan that time. Why is this fact not mentioned in this video??

@@Vikash_27777 it’s widely known fact, many sources. Google it, I couldn’t post link here since KZbin deletes it. Also there are many temples dedicated to Sindhu raja. One is chakhar lhakhang. It’s said that those Tibetan refugees who took shelter in Sindhu raja and other Indian king’s kingdom, later killed or chased those Indians out, and established Tibetan rule. Pretty much same like Mughal.

@@wonderfullife737 As a matter of fact, Bhutan never was ever colonized by any country. One main reason was that it's too isolated nation. It has the history of wars with Tibet or China but not with India. Bhutan always fought as a defender rather than attacker. And till date Chinese never succeeded in capturing. During 12 to 18 century Bhutanese warrior were particularly good in bow & arrow war. And since from early centuries Bhutan is known for it's perfection in long-shot arrow fight. You can still see monasteries ( called Dzong) which has holes for archers and even watch towers (Ta Dzong) for long range archers. That's why Bhutan's national game (long range about 200 meters) still is Archery and they love playing it. While India was colonised by the great Britain, Bhutan remained issolated from foreign colonizations. Later in late 1910s British was intersted in Tibet for Trade. While they came in peace, Bhutan attacked those Brit officials killing most of the soldiers & capturing one thinking as colonizer. British in Kolkata knew that it was a mistake attack because they were never intersted in Bhutan but Tibet. So they tried to communicate using Sikim and later release thier officer as a justure of peace. Later in 1910, the treaty was signed in Punakha, Bhutan, stating that Brit will pay Bhutan for protection of thier officials while they trade with Tibet and it also clearly states that Bhutan is as a seperate Monarch Nation where the great Brit will not interfere. And Bhutan were paid for the protection as there were diffrent nomads of Bhutan in diffrent regions who will shoot arrows for any foreigners. Later when Brit left India, Bhutan still remained its independence. There was nothing claimed by India’s new Gov't with Bhutan because India always knew that even Britain, China & Japan recognised Bhutan as a sepearted nation. Later the third king of Bhutan, who was educated, had a vision to modernise his country and began to seek international aid in early 1950s. India’s constant aid to Bhutan made the two country come closer. But within Bhutan there were romours that the king can't ignore that the India’s aid is to annexe Bhutan. So the king joined as a member of UNO in 1972 to assure his citizens that Bhutan is safe & can continue it's relation with India. Thus, India always remained a brotherhood country to Bhutan but there are still senior citizens in the country that believes that India are using dirty politics to control Bhutan. But this kind of romours can never die within Bhutan.

Bhutan was never a part of india or british india. It wasn't even a part of tibet or china. Bhutan was always an independent country. We were never colonized like India colonized by Britain or China colonized by japanese or tibet colonized by china. We maintained our sovereignty through allegiance to the ruling family of the country who gave their heart n soul to rule the country with peace despite all odds which nearbouring countries rulers failed to do so n eventually fell under british empire n then under india. Bhutan was always an independent nation n I suppose its next to Vatican city from being the smallest country but with only nation in the world with mahayana buddhism as its state religion.
