We returned recently on Nov 1, without entering due to extreme high costs even for Indians. 1200₹ fees is ok, because tourism based country, but things like Guide, Cab, three star hotel accommodation, health insurance, daily expenses extra, absolutely nonsense and Skip Bhutan. We were given a package of 40k for three days.

I am aware that Bhutan is wary about diluting their culture; but I think Bhutan should be easier for those who are coming for pilgrims as they share the same culture. I want to go to a pilgrimage to Bhutan but right now it is very difficult. As such there are so many who want to there as pilgrims, they will not harm Bhutan’s culture as we share the same traditions and religion. It will benefit locals economically as well.
