The bhutnese learnt how immigrants could rebel against the king and could make Bhutan another Sikkim. They had learnt their lesson from Sikkim. If the same group of Bhutanese had done the same thing in Nepal I am sure they would have met the same fate. Thanks to your leader Tek Nath Rizal who tried to bring maoist ideology in Bhutan to abolish monarchy. This nepali group tried to replicate the incident in bhutan were those influenced and killed their own king. I am glad those maoist people are drove away from Bhutan. Bhutan is peaceful now because we sorted out the rotten apple from the beginning. Their terrorist Leader Tek Nath is in prison for Refugee scam . Bro literally do human trafficking. Don't always listen to one side of the story mate. Don't make yourself look like a fool

That country is India. 2) In 1954, India published a map of India that included Bhutan. 3) In 1975, India invaded and annexed Sikkim, a country very similar to Bhutan but smaller. 4) In 1991, India plotted to annex Bhutan using the issue of the Lhotshampa community as a pretext. The plot failed. 5) Today, Bhutan is militarily occupied by India. 6) The map of Akhand Bharat, a fantasy map of India fetishes by Indian nationalists, includes Bhutan.

Do you think Bhutanese live in a cave, under rocks! Our philosophy and visions are far better than most of the country. We do know a lot about the West and we prefer not to copy their lifestyle. We remain faithful to our roots, religion, traditions and Environment. We can exploit our resources and instantly become rich but our visionary leaders choose not to destroy our nature and preserved it for future generations. We didn't claim to be happiest country in the world nor our country is the best of the best. Those educated foreigner who visits Bhutan understand the Bhutanese Philosophy and approach to livelihood, saw how happy they are living and sustaining the balance of economic growth with environment conservative measures. How people are not greedy for materialistic things, how humble and welcoming Bhutanese are, they simply thought Bhutan is the happiest country in the world.
