起初看這劇前，聽聞不太好看，甚至遭人投訴，故此並不抱有太大期望去觀看。結果，觀後個人覺得池昌旭演的平凡人，做到完全沒有偶像包袱的演繹，真的很有喜感，傻氣逼人。相信這是因他那不羈率真的性格能讓他如此放開地發揮。金裕貞在這劇中是相當甜又帥的角色，眼神和笑容都有魅力，特別是每個眼神都在向人說話。劇情上，有人說太浮誇太誇張，原著更是意識不良。然而，個人覺得這種浮誇誇張並不胡鬧，漫畫式的演繹也合情理。而最重要是故事除了輕鬆開心誇張以外，所帶出的信息是我最感意外的。發現很多細節竟讓我如斯感動淚眼，不知是因為演員到位的演繹，角色與角色之間每個微小互動交流，還是故事中扣人心弦的微妙信息呢？竟多次讓我會心微笑，笑中有淚。人設上，不凡的池昌旭將這個現實中的平凡人演得吸引實在不容易，傻氣、善良、正直、長情集一身的便利店店長。最後，他也演出自己面容被扭曲（被踢飛及失戀哭得不似人這兩幕），實在讓我非常難忘，更突顯了他立體的一面。沒有多少個重視自身形象的歐爸能做到這樣不介意吧！哈哈哈！至少，我也期望另一個帥氣爆登的歐爸李敏鎬，可以有如此突破，放開偶像包袱，否則很快會被定型，只能飾演某類角色，走偶像路線。
