Are they professional judges? They tainted the games, and showed obvious bias. What does the champ impress the con judges? She ran around for all three rounds. No attacking. Shame! My suggestion to Ms. Nguyen is to stop participate in this circus for these loonies to make money out of your hard work.

I really like Bi, but I thought the judges probably got it right. What you described happened at the end of the 2nd round and throughout the 3rd round where Bi REALLY took it into another gear. But she lost the 1st round and was losing throughout the 2nd when they were on the ground. Bi made up for it at the end of the 2nd round, but maybe not enough. One judge thought she did. I can see why the other two thought she didn't. Bi did fight an excellent fight though. She got out of some really tough spots on the ground. Girl's got some serious skills.

Bi won the last round but got hammered striking and grappling in round 1 and was definitely dominated by VanZandt in round 2 which was mostly grappling.

thats the fight i saw as well. most people seem to remember just the 3rd round i guess. lindsey would be even better if she could gain full mount after her takedowns though. Bi was the better striker, but takedowns are a big deal in the scoring of a bout.

I agree, although the end of round 2 was exactly like round 3. I think Bi waited too long to kick it into a higher gear. Either that or she took too long to figure out her opponent.

Cant honestly say either fighter won. Vanzant had more significant control and strikes on the ground. Nguyen might have slightly edged standing but not by much. Not a dominant fight by either.

I don't know what you guys watched but Van Zandt won this fight. She scored two takedowns and the only knockdown of the fight. Nguyens boxing was certainly better but a lot of her combinations were being blocked or were falling short. It was the right decision. Remember this is MMA not boxing. Doing a little bit more in the standup is not enough to win.

1st off, sound way to low (except loud aggravating noise just before beginning) wt... Rd1 LV up1; Rd2 LV controlled on grd.most of the time/up2. Rd3 Wow! BN won rd3 but not by nearly enough. I could see how they scored the fight for Vanzant. She ran alot but when she wasnt running in rounds 1&2 she was able to control Bi from the bottom for long enough to take those first two rounds.
