No, this concept is not there in my company and most of the companies are absolutely ok with it. There are some companies (mainly banks) where you have to submit your annual income from other sources, that's all. Also, I file ITR.

Being an experienced banker let me tell u there is no such clause is required to submit in bank 9:12 but in ITR there is a field to fill up.

I think if you're planning to be a creator and earn from this, you should be very very clear to the HR team and your reporting seniors while interviewing. Then they can guide you better what needs to be done. I interviewed at a very popular bank earlier for marketing and the HR did ask me to submit yearly income for documentation.
