Fortunately I bought a ghia x that already had xenons lol. Looks a right pain in the arse to remove the cover. They are better lights than standard and to be honest if I bought another car they'd have to have them that's for sure.

Yeah, removing the cover was a pain on these lights. The glue was hard and didn´t soften with heat as with most of the original lights.

But I have some doubts. Did you can help me please ... What kind of hid bulbs you use? and What kind of glue / silicone used to close the optical?

These projectors use H1 bulb, so the bulb is from aftermarket H1 xenon kit. The glue is a butyl glue. That kind of glue doesn't harden fully and can be softened even more with heat, so you can remove the lens easier if you have to.

No fuses added, but there is fuses for the original halogen lamps and the xenon lamps are powered trough those

+King ABS Thanks! Actually, these cheap aftermarket lights used to get foggy inside because the lenses weren't glued in properly. After the modification there has been no issues with moisture :)

spareto.com. Nämä umpiot ovat merkiltään TYC, eli halvat ja huonot :). Valokuvio näissä umpioissa oli ennen modausta ihmeellinen (kirkkaita pisteitä ja pimeitä kohtia kuviossa) ja valoteho paljon heikompi kuin alkuperäisissä, lisäksi toisen umpion korkeussäädön säätövara loppui kesken, suosittelen siis kokeilemaan jotain muuta merkkiä :). Alkuperäiset korkeudensäätömoottorit sopivat suoraan kiinni. Hyväksyntämerkinnät ovat umpion mustassa runko-osassa, "lasissa" ei ole mitään merkintöjä. Hyväksynnät löytyy vain halogeeni-polttimoille.

It was Bostik Butyl Mastic 1590, if I remember correct. Any automotive butyl sealant will work.

Nice, but your hotspot on the right projector is not centered ;) your bulbs dont fit right, you need to drill a bit on the bulb socket, so they go a bit more into the projector ;)

+zlatan Hairlić The light reflects a little funny from the highly reflective and textured surface of the door, and it does look different in real life. But after looking at the footage again, you might have a point. I have to check that out. Thanks for the tip! :)

i have a question..I want to put on my bike 2 Bi-xenon projectors... my bike have 1 headlight H7 for low beam and one H7 for hi beam. if i put those projectors that use H1, how do i power the both projectors? where it suppose to connect the harness that came with the projectors? it`s ok if i power both H1 bulbs with low beam harness and the projector (actuator/solenoid ) with hi beam harness? (I also want to put H1 LED instead of HID. it will work??

Correct, wire both of the H1 bulbs to low beam, and the projector actuators to the high beam. Only thing you have to check/test is that can the original wiring and fuse of the low beam take the increased current of the two lights. If it doesn't you will just have to do little more wiring and ad a relay to power the lights. Leds will work. However, all the cheap led kits (H4, H7, H1, etc.) are useless in light power and beam shape, so be careful when choosing witch one to get.

These cheap aftermarket headlights were glued with some kind of permanent glue. Heating didn't help at all.

What sealant did you use to seal these? Also i've just done a retrofit with ebay parts, but find they have virtually no distance, very bright to look at and in the foreground but can't see far

Some butyl-based glue if I remember correct. I had the same problem with the beam distance and had to modify the projector and the light housing to get the beam pointing high enough.

Mine seems to be fine height wise, i aligned it against a wall, it just seems that the light itself drops off after a certain distance and provides basically no illumination :(

Looks like possible do 2x2low beams and 2x2 high beams? 2 bi-xenon projectors per headlamp and wuolia 4low beams + fog lights bi-xenon + 6high beams. hell a lot of light :)

Very helpful video to understand the project. Thanks a lot! My quesiton is what about the performance of the projectors after 2,5 years. Are they still doing their job well or started to get dark on lens and reflectors? I thought to use these projectors but after reading many reviews of them decided to use OEM projectors like Hella E55. In my opinion Hella could be better but very very difficult to install on the headlights. These ones are much more easier with their screw-installing type. Maybe i m going to use a couple of them in my next project. But if you say; -Yes, they are still working enough! :) Thanks again.
