After the first bloody coup in 1966. Adaka Boro was fighting for a Niger Delta republic specifically because of the tribalism and oppression from the Igbos in the Eastern region. Igbos were in charge at the time and Nigeria was good for them. Ojukwu, who was the military administrator of the then Eastern region, killed all of Boro's men, arrested Boro, and took him to the federal tribunal where Ironsi sentenced him to death for secession and high treason. Infact the phrase "the unity of Nigeria is non-negotiable" was first used during the Ironsi government. Today Igbos are crying and psychologically bullying the Nigerian government to release a criminal nnamdi cownu that has done 1000% worse than Adaka Boro. Ain"t that something?!
