I feel like talking about other kids milestones and progress are so off limits & every child develops SO differently and every household and family is unique and does what works for THEM. You’re an amazing mom Bianca ❤ I’m a mom of twin toddlers boys who are Sutton’s age. Moms have so much pressure to feel that they have to show that they are the best, and do everything better than other moms. It’s impossible to feel like you’re ever doing the best for your kids, there is a constant microscope on us and you’re SO RIGHT, the most judgement comes from other women and moms. It’s so sad. Just know that you’re doing your best and that’s all you need to tell yourself.

I will say watching your videos is somewhat of an escape for me like you mentioned, but also kind of a glimpse into my future since I know i'm going to have kids soon. You inspire me every video I watch to try and do things to make my life and myself happier and healthier. I appreciate your videos so much. I think Sutton is doing great! My little brother struggled a bit with the talking and my mom put him in speech therapy and it seriously helped! Obviously you don’t need to do that if that doesn’t align with what you want for Sutton but it really helped my brother

My mom and I love watching your videos. When we got to the part where you mentioned people were commenting that Sutton was delayed in speaking - my mom was shocked! All of the judgy moms are just insecure with themselves and their ability to mother the way the ones they attack. I wholeheartedly believe that. Hurt people, hurt people. It shouldn’t matter to anyone (aside from the child’s parents) what timeline a child is on for milestones. Anyone with a brain and a set of eyes can tell your daughter is loved beyond measure and is thriving. We all parent differently. I’m strict with night sleep and nap time with my three kids, but I respect your chill approach with your daughter because that’s what works for you and your family. Ignore the people who have something to say about every tiny thing. They aren’t happy with themselves or their lives.

I honestly hate that you have to defend yourself and your child and your parenting of YOUR child. I am usually a silent follower but I’ve seen the comments lately and it angers me. My 5 year old brother in law still struggles with speaking sometimes and has greatly improved with time. At 2or 3 he was very much speaking gibberish 90% of the time. You know best for your child and nobody else has a right to tell you how to raise your child. I love your videos as I am a 23 year old married blogger on KZbin and plan to have kids in the next few years and love to see how your content has changed over time !

Your “job” on social media is just like any other job - there are always cons with the pros. No job is perfect and people are always people no matter what career you’re in. Be confident in yourself and know who you are. Sutton needs that example. Also, no one sends a camera to school/preschool/daycare so I don’t understand why anyone would feel the need to see what one does at home with a 2 year old.

I think it’s okay for toddlers to have a paci if nothing is going on with there teeth. One day they’ll grow out of it no rush 🤍 My daughter lost hers (19months) so we just never bought her another one. It’s been 5 days since & I almost gave into buying her a new one on the first day. After a couple days she stopped asking for it & actually fell asleep without any winning.
