Biáng is a Chinese character that's so complex, it can't be typed on a keyboard. With origins in China's Shaanxi Province, the outrageous complexity of this character has given rise to many myths. In this video, I break down every component of biang, explain a rhyming jingle to help you remember how to write it, and tell my favorite tale of the its supposed origin!

the mnemonic device in English: Apex rising up to the sky. Over two bends by the Yellow River’s side. Character ‘eight’ is opening wide, While character ‘speech’ enters inside. You twist, I twist too, You grow, I grow with you. Inside a horse, the king will rule, “Heart” down below, “moon” by the side. Leave a hook for sesame candy to hang low. On our carriage, to Xianyang we’ll ride

If the word biang biang came from the sound when making the hand pulled noodles. Then it should have been written as 蹦蹦麵. As should be able read most Chinese word by looking at part of the word and sound out the word. This 54 strokes Chinese character would not be able to be read by most Cantonese, other than those who have been told that it is biang.

Each writing system is better each language, like Chinese uses tones and has little grammar so it would be easier to give up on an alphabet. Japanese has no spaces making harder to read with kanji and also there's many words that are the same pronounce but different by Their kanji.
