Just the man Graham why does my central heating green light occasionally flash red every 10mins or so and when the boiler kicks in it flashes red a couple of times then goes to green again. It is a Worcester 18i junior.. Your help in this matter would be most welcome..Regards Sandy..

They are if you have access. Only common issue is usually poor installation. Hard to combat that with the low price though.

Great video. I have worked for Biasi for the last 24 years so get to know all the faults. I've been shouting the answer at my iPad for the last 10min. LoL. It's not the stat and please put some water in you will have the flow switch dropping out. I won't spoil it for every one.

What’s the latest HE Biasi’s like Frank, any recurring problems we should know about? I’ve always thought that Biasi was a good wee boiler & fitted quite a few over the years👍

Yes good boiler now with 7 years guarantee or 8 if you are a registered installer with Biasi.

Frank Bennett had one of these in my house , fantastic boiler never went wrong but had to update to a condensing ,went with vaillant , 2 repairs in 3 years already , honestly they just don’t make’em like they use to, I’ll need to look in to biasi again

It can be confusing when they use 240 on a neutral coloured wire, I "usually" treat everything as live until I have tested it, although I have had a few belts!!! I bet you've had a few too. Fab fix on the APS spade connector. Thanks for sharing great info.

The common on the aps isn't always the source of voltage, some boards output a constant live from NO and NC with the voltage then running down the common. With that type of switch both NO and NC are always live.

For future reference the flue stat is a manual reset and in my experience it ignition PCB especially with the intermittent ones

Oh please someone help, I'm about to give up on my biasi, my one just locks the fire out after 5 seconds everytime, no error code, just the red light next to the reset button... I replaced fire sensor, ignition board, checked venturi device, all working fine, overheat thermostat fine, 2 ntc probes all good... can it be the gas valve? Does it have some pressure sensor or something thats gone? Or is it the main board? Im getting to the conclusion that its either board or the valve, there is literally nothing else here that could cause it....

It seems I'm having the exact same issue with my Biasi boiler. The burners don't re-ignite, especially if I turn a hot tap on in the kitchen or bathroom. Even just maintain the burn to keep the CH on. VERY frustrating.

I like them think they last really well a lot longer than some well advertised brands. Fitted mine 16 years ago and still going strong. Never installed one for a customer! At the end of the day it has a lot to do with water quality of the system it's been installed in.

Great videos Ollie ! The black and red wires tell the main PCB when the ignition PCB is in a Lockout state. I manufacture a replacement ign PCB for this boiler get my number of Jason I'll send you some parts for your vids (Baxi Sol) :))
