Although I want to thank paradygm for giving a platform to discuss blockchain/crypto, this podcast was a total waste of time. Watched it in 2x speed, and tried to note down anything valuable but it just went nowhere. I dont want to be harsh to both you guys, its frustrating here in Nepal in many aspects but instead of complaining for hours, could have discussed and made it a learning experience for everyone. Identify the position NRB is in right now, why their stance on crypto is the way it is and why it needs to change. What examples are there for practical projects with blockchain technology that are useful in real world other than just another form of day-trading or art auction. What are the unique solutions that cryptocurrencies or blockchain tech provides that isnt already solved by existing tech. Citizens and eventually the country itself will only adopt a new system/tech if it truly sees the benefits of it compared to existing ones. I came here to get a perspective, only to be frustrated by how little you actually discuss blockchain in these 3 hours. But said that, thanks for bringing a legally taboo topic on such a platform. Hoping the next one will be more illuminating.

Good Initiation. Well discussed but could have been better if explained simplified DLT and Blockchain for layman then procced to advance. Most people might not be familiar with terminologies eg. NFT , types of BC, consensus mechanism, WEB3, crypto apart from BC etc. Regarding age he looks old but has maturity

I totally agree. There is a difference when it comes to people who do it because they do it and those who seem to be doing it. And no disrespect but I don’t even know who tf this guy is. Been a sheer student of the technology since 2014 and it’s more descriptive than this. Yo Samasya jaha actually janne manche agadi aaucha or janne chu vanne agadi aaucha is the problem Nepal has on every sector, may it be tech, art or anything. Nagesh bro, I would rather want to have a proper discussion with you. And wtf is a consultant, I know what the word means but blockchain atleast in the context of a country like ours is far away from the state where it needs a Blockchain Consultation. We need to start humble, not because we don’t have enough developers or we are dumb but the place where it needs to hit, one who make the policies, it needs to be everything but ignorant. I am just editing whenever I hear something worthless on the video and I am not gonna watch no more. Did he just invent a term browser moment! It would have been more clear to talk about static internet as Web 1.0, user as customer and commodity and dynamic www as 2.0 and then the future Web 3.0, although immature. When he says he can make millions dollars out of this. Believe me he can. He has an experience of about 5 years that's 0.0001%of developer who knows blockchain. Presently the salary for blockchain developer is about 300-400k for about 3,4years of experience and he knows how to build stuffs and if he builds one the VCs will be lined behind him to invest. Trust me its true. Nepal needs to move out of its comfort zone and be able to support the ecosystem or atleast try not influencing it. A great podcast for all the NRB executive. A great podcast.

Good podcast but Bibek needs to have more understanding I guess like 2 kharba in crypto from Nepal is joke . He is working on ZIL and XCAD is amazingly awesome , both are awesome project. Bringing crypto economy into Remittance, banking, play 2 earn etc could be our future which was not discussed. He was absolutely wrong about USDT , he was saying usd is backed by usdt instead of saying usdt is backed by usd. Among all stable coins usdt is most controversial and he lacks that knowledge.. He has good knowledge on blockchain development but lacks fundamental knowledge of crypto. Overall I am happy for bringing crypto content .

Yeah bro exactly. 2 kharba is joke and data thrown out of the air and usdt is the most controversial thing since 2016 and hasnt done one external audit but decentralized stablecoins are backed by crypto and i hate centralized stablecoins. Without some centralized stablecoins crypto will be pure. He has good knowledge in blockchain but has some misunderstanding

@@mesutozil8815 Bibek missing defi aspects where people can get minimum of 18% to 1000% . Also crypto is not fully legal but it is in gray zone in many countries . They haven’t fully accepted it nor fully banned. Usdt is not dollar , it is just another stable coin built in blockchain. Also he keeps telling crypto total economy 1 Trillion but we are more than 2.5trillion market cap. He says American economy does not care about 1Trillion dollar but he is clearly missing Bitcoin is 9th biggest asset and yes they care about crypto so there is SEC and other policies in place . Overall Bibek is good , I am not trying to throw salt at him . Only hinting some rooms for improvement

Good decision on bringing Bibek in this podcast. @Sisan you already have great followers and influence in Nepali KZbin audience, I trust your intentions too. You need to bring more unsung heroes in this podcast. There are so many good things happenings in the Tech and Startup sector of Nepal. I know many people who have build the industry creating 10,000+ jobs in Nepal and I feel that these stories should be shared to the Hopeful Nepali youth…. Not to promote business but to tell your audience that there are still possibilities in Nepal, from Nepal… Sorry to say but I am getting lots of negativity in most of your podcast these days… Anil Chitrakar Dai is the only one who talks about positivity of Nepal. It’s not true that there is no FDI policy, common on there are companies that are here with 100% FDI operating legally. We need to give this fact. May be there is no policy yet in blockchain sector but other sector. Here are list of people that I have in mind currently : Santosh Koirala, Sonika Manandhar, Prativa Pandey, Punit Jajodia, Pukar Malla, Naman Nepal, Bishwash Dhakal, Amit Agrawal, Mark Sears, Bibhusan Bista, Rudra Pandey, Himal Karmacharya, Ashish Shrestha…. These people combined have created more than 10,000 jobs in Nepal and showing Nepali talents globally. And trust me they are amazing public speakers too :) Best wishes for future endeavor.

Our country Nepal where we have a massive problem of corruption blockchain plays a vital role one simple example is running the voting proccess on Blockchain . It is irreversible and one of the most legit and secured voting system if run on blockchain.
