Bibhatsa or disgust is a feeling that comes from looking,hearing and experiencing unpleasant things.
Today the nations mourns and agitates on the death of a pure soul who was brutally raped and murdered. Was she at fault? Was she wearing the wrong clothes? Was she hanging out with dudes? Was she smoking or drinking? She wasn’t, right? Then why did she face the horrendous lust of a monster? No one has the answer.
Every day new cases happen. Every now and then people stand up, raise there voices but what is left at the end is sadness of the victim and her being the subject of disgust for the society.
Yet again we find ourselves asking this simple question to the society out there- SHOULD WOMEN’S SUFFERING BECOME THE SUBJECT OF OUR DISGUST?
