First of all, If your intention is to eventually return this baby to the wild you should NOT put him in diapers! The diapers effect the natural formation of the baby's leg and hip muscles, as well as those in the abdominal area. It also widens the natural gait and affects the posture of the monkey as he develops. If you believe it is that important to diaper him please do it as minimally as possible. Secondly, Besides all the bad effects diapers have on his growing body a wet or soiled diaper trapped against the skin comes with a list of problems in itself. Urine and feces are full of bacteria and ammonia and on his delicate skin will cause diaper rashes and lead to other health problems, including open painful sores that require strong antibiotics to cure. Lastly, If the only reason you are using diapers is to keep him from soiling your home consider the use of disposable potty training pads instead. It's far better to use these and wash his bottom when he defecates than it is to risk all the negative results of diapers. In the end, you must remember this is not a human child, and as similar as he may seem to us he is still an animal and does not share our same physiology! So whereas diapers on human children are a natural thing and help form the pelvis for walking and running, they are unnatural for the monkey pelvis. So please think it through carefully before deciding to continue to use diapers!

Not really ridiculous. Nobody really gives a s***, if a man has a dog. Everybody has a dog. It is blasé, normal, to be expected. Apparently people paid pretty good money, to see these people raise a monkey for some reason. So, I would say he's actually making a pretty good income, raising that little baby monkey. Again, not ridiculous at all. Actually, a fairly decent business model.
