Larry usually just lets the other members handle the interviews and stuff but the points he makes are good. And with Bono yes, he's pretty funny sometimes and is a great speaker.

Reading Bono's memoirs, "Surrender" - excellent👌 I have a hard time putting it down and his gift for writing exemplifies his Irish gift for storytelling. That he's married to his beloved Ali almost 40 years, has the same circle of friends and band mates!/brothers all these years, says so much. As an artist myself, all creative people, will feel a powerful connection to much of what he shares in the book 📖 Bono, Edge, Larry and Adam, thank you 🙏✌️🕊️

refreshing to see edge be more vocally expressive, and other members of the band, instead of bono being 'the spokesman' so to speak of the band, here, when the very thing they're talking about is THEM, as a BAND, it's ironic, it's kinda like bono has always 'hijacked' the band, made it his own, and does all the talking, I understand and know bono's deep love for U2, what they mean to him, the band, guys, music, all of it, but a band should be a band in all areas of contribution, this includes equal speaking, voicing yourself also, in interviews, etc. I don't know if I ever understood what happened since the band's beginning, if paul-bono was or is the 'dominant' personality, and the other guys for the most part agree with him, so they just let him be 'the voice', or what,....but it gets so old when throughout U2's history to present, and you see it all the time, 'bono' eagerly and sometimes 'demandingly' 'rudely' taking, the role as 'band spokesman' which ultimately led him to think he's the world's spokesman, if he's really born again in Jesus, this isn't humility, it's pride, arrogance, I used to think he largely did it just to have fun being an asshole on purpose, which lots of people do, but bono is 'scary' when he's DEAD WRONG on a lot of things, that affect people worldwide, I mean, its ok to shit around, fuck around when you're in a band, but the more influence you get and have on people all over the world, and you're still 'playing the fuckup', somethings really going wrong with you -->bono, I'm not judging bono, I'm not God, I don't know his heart mind etc, but what does come out of his mouth and what he clearly shows by what actions he does/takes, the bible says 'a tree is known by its fruits', and bono has a lot of serious bad fruit, that is no laughing matter, things he said and done that he is truly accountable for, responsible for, no wonder he gets along so well with david letterman, both are two major assholes, letterman just being a plain dumbass asshole who thinks he's king shit their at his 'desk', maybe he'll die right there at his 'desk', it's his 'throne' to the world, I've noticed bono and letterman can dish out shit but neither of them like it when its dished out to them, hypocrites,.........I used to thoroughly enjoy watching/listening to bono speak/express himself, on stage, interviews, etc in any venue, but, a part of me thinks he's always been an asshole, even as a young kid, still just a brat who demands his own way, this is truly pathetic, but understandable, from where he grew up-came from-larry lost his mother early on in a horrific way-a truck barrelling her over, I don't see larry-but then again people grieve in different ways, I do believe all people everywhere are fragile in their own ways, it just seems bono has been a loose cannon for so many years 'unchecked' and this isn't right, morally, for him, the band, and everyone else. But you reap what you sow, so nobody's 'getting away' with anything.............

What NBC show is this that interviewed U2 for so long? Is this unedited footage? I doubt the Today Show or whatever would have shown so much of this interview. I like the interviewer, though. She's not trying to be cool. She's honest and decent, and has done her research. So much better than the idiots that interview U2 nowadays.
