Food for thought re the beast, thanks! Too many Christians get unnecessarily confused/upset about the return of animal sacrifices. It's clearly prophesiesd. And yes, we know that Jesus was the one-time perfect sacrifice for our sins, but the Jews don't - yet! - but that will change in the second half of the tribulation. Presently, they are still following the Torah. There will also be animal sacrifices during the millennial reign, but they will be memorial in nature.

That's a good question. Noah was also righteous and God fearing. Perhaps there were others whose DNA was not altered but they chose not to listen. Or maybe it was just to fulfil all righteousness as God will not destroy without first warning or informing the sinners of their sin so they may know the reason why.

So, Jesus shed his blood to redeem the saints who will be returning with him to rule over the nations in his second coming. That's a done deal when he returns the second time. The nations existing during the millennial reign will be sinners, not saints, and Jesus isn't going to sacrifice himself again. So, would it not make sense that the animal sacrifices are being made to God the Father for atonement of the sins of the nations during Jesus' millennial reign? That's what God's word is saying to me. I agree that Jesus was God in the flesh and the Bible clearly teaches that they are the same; like Father, like son. But Jesus himself made it clear that God is the Father of all of us, including Jesus. God expects atonement for sin during the millennial reign for the sinners during that time. That makes more sense to me.😇

The same temple that Daniel said would be destroyed and at that point everlasting righteousness would be established.
