I like the colors of the pilot FriXion highlighters but I don't like how the highlight color sits on top of the text. It kind of mutes out the color instead of blending into the page. I hope they fix the formula soon. So Blends better with the paper and not just sits on top of the paper. Because I agree with you these colors are very beautiful and light on the eyes and very beautiful. I'm a huge fan of the gel highlighters💖📚

Yes I noticed that too, it creates a ghosting/glossy film over the boldness of the text! For this reason I've been mainly using the Zebra's... it might be to do with the fact they are erasable so sit on top rather than into the paper...

-mildliners absorb, frixion sits -mildliners have larger colour range, but are brighter -mildliners have show through, smudge gel pens. friXion has no show through, and not sure about smudging. -mildliners have a fine tip, friXion has an eraser. they're equal -mildliners have an uncomfortable hold and look really long and awkward. -you can control whether frixion shows through or not but only once, write over it and cool it, its a mess. honestly i think FriXion wins for me :)

well worth a look, the Zebra ones have another tip on the other side as +gypsylane has mentioned below. The fact the Pilot's are erasable though is a real plus.

You should use any gel highliters there cheap and have no bleed through/ghosting

Burton Bibles now I wish i could... I don't shop online so I don't know what's all out there besides what's in my town. But I would suggest any brand of them I've personally used and love Walmart brand... Oh sharpie has one too. There is a video I'll link below where I share all the bar codes I have maybe that will help you better😉

nice review, if you get the GTL Zebra Zebrite you get a medium and a fine end on each pen.

The pilot frixion does cloud up the text a little bit! I wouldn't go over them for a second time.

BEWARE, I have used the Frixion highlighters in my notes and found that all the colors either faded or completely disappeared when I left my highlighted papers in my car. If your highlighted documents get exposed to heat it will FAIL. I hope this helps, and I don’t want to knock this product for other uses which may not be as important. However, writing in your bible is of great importance and I would say against using the Frixion erasable highlighters.

Here in the uk we have less heat related problems 😂 so there haven’t been any issues, but I take your point! I prefer the mildliners anyway. God bless!

yes, they are thermosensitive ink and will erase when exposed to heat (therefore the frixion nip is able to erase it) just put it in the freezer and it will come back.

I’ve loved the pilot friction highlighters. However, I learned that they are erased thermally. So, if you use them be sure you do not leave your Bible anywhere it would become hot or it will erase. So, don’t go shopping after church without bringing your Bible home first.

Yes they do have a strange silvery faded look about them! Mildliners and gel options are probably best imo
