+Kristen Smith Thank you! I actually just purchased it from Scraptastic Club. I have to be honest... it's not sticky at all! It must be an old tape or something went wrong in the manufacturing. I still love it and just use a glue stick to keep it down. :)

I wish I did. I'm still such a novice. This was filmed by jerry-rigging my iPhone to a camera tripod. Haha. My latest two videos were filmed on a DSLR but I've still got a LOT to learn.

+Suzanne Light Thank you! I do not. I sometimes gesso the back after the fact but very rarely! Acrylic doesn't bleed very often and I like how watercolor paints look from the back usually. :)

I hate it when people paint over the whole page because that makes it hard to read the bible. Its ok to write prayers or draw pretty pictures on the side margins, but not scribble over the entire page. The bible is a sacred book and should be treated with respect. If people want to get that creative, why not use a notebook? No offense to anyone, its just my opinion.

Wendy Medina Each person has their own style of journaling within their bible. She did state that this Bible is used as an art journal, not the Bible she reads and studies in. It's a place to further meditate on, experience and emphasize the scriptures she's working on. The great thing about Bible journaling is using it as your own tool-just as everyone's relationship with God is different, it's the same case with Bible journaling.

Bible journals are sold especially for drawing and painting on. They are not intended to replace your normal bible that you take to church etc, they are for getting into the word, and visualizing what you are learning and what God is speaking to you. Some people have multiple bible journals. I have one bible journal for visualizing what God is showing me, and a normal everyday bible for study, and another for teaching my son.It's not the paper, or the book itself that is holy - it is God's word and what he is speaking to each individual - it is God and his word which has life that is Holy. So if he is speaking something to me that really impacts my walk and my life, I will use my bible journal to highlight that word. It doesn't mean the other words on that page are meaningless, it means that particular word is being spoken over my life form God and I want to visualize it and remember it, and ruminate on it so the word becomes planted and becomes a part of me. That is the purpose of bible journals.

Some journaling bibles are also what are called "interleaved", which means there's a blank page after each page of text, so you can journal on that page and not hide any of the text. And, as she says in the video, this Bible is more of a journal and NOT for reading scripture. Most Bible journalers do it that way, but since it's a way of worshipping and spending time with God, everyone will do what suits them best.

It’s beautiful however I will not cover the scriptures with decors, it lose the purpose of the Bible and I feel it’s disrespectful to God.
