Yea!!! So wonderful to hear what God is doing with you! Blessings on you new group. It is so easy for us to just sit back and let others feed us the baby food ‘milk of the word’ rather than searching it out for ourselves and finding the ‘meat’ of the word. I bet your Pastor is doing cartwheels over you having a group that will ponder and study and hear from God what was spoken from the pulpit on Sunday morning! Keep walking in faith dear one. You are a great blessing to so many!

So glad to see a Bible journaling video from you again. My church has been doing something similar concerning the pastor’s sermons for about a year. It is wonderful! We have “and furthermore” notes/questions we discuss in small groups. Ours is immediately after the sermon instead of a regular Sunday School class. Just love it.

So happy to see this new video. I too have stepped away from art in my Bible. I am now having art journaling ideas come during a message or Life Group lesson or personal study. I believe that is God showing me it’s time to do art in my Bible again.

Beautiful Bible! I love reading and learning from the Bible. I had a great teacher a few years ago and found out that everything is important. It’s been very recently that Bibles were available for individuals and then awhile longer before they were translated into languages everyone could read in their languages. I often said, “either I believe all of the Bible or none of it” because so many just pick and choose.. it just doesn’t work that way imo. Sounds like a great idea to reinforce the scripture for the week!! I’m a big Corrie ten Boon fan and she always reminds me to pray for searching myself honestly (which is why Jesus told us we need other loving Christians help here) because I am convinced at 62 that unconfessed sin is a barrier from our ability to hear from God. I’ve experienced this difference in my life! Just thought I’d share I’m interested in anything you offer that would be focused on studying scripture . I’ve never done anything like you have discussed but I’m very open!! I have truly enjoyed your channel since watching this month. You are extremely talented, offer a variety of arts but I believe your spirit comes through and is very uplifting. Now I know for sure it’s God working through you, honey!!! That’s the best gift anyone can give and no telling the impact on those who receive it. You are definitely very special, Sandy, and using your gifts for Gods glory!! Hugs from Texas, Nancy Rolfe P. S. I haven’t signed up for your class yet. Do I need to go to a website?? I’m technically challenged so please have some patience….lol I’m even more excited to take it now!!

So wonderful to see this video and hear your thoughts. I love that your church is doing this!! There's a genuine man of God on KZbin (Keith Malcomson with Limerick City Church) who says it's important to "chew the cud" on sermons. In other words, don't just listen and forget it, but explore how the sermon speaks to you. It sounds like this is what you're doing with your journaling group... so awesome, Sandy!! God bless! -❤Maranda

Seeing the message pop up that you had put up a journalling vid put a big smile on my face. Thank you for that! At the same time I agree that God knows best. Follow what He puts in ‘your knower’ and I am sure all will be well, regardless of weather it results in more journalling vids. 😉😇

This is gorgeous - love hearing that your church is doing this new opportunity for people to learn to listen carefully. What blows my mind is how many *other* letters and documents have been lost over the years, where the bible we read suggests we go read another book, the letters we have talk about ‘in my last letter, or in your letter’. Makes those that have been preserved and collated together all the more precious.

Great hearing from you! God speaks to us in many ways, and sometimes even what we think are the best ideas or things to pursue…May not necessarily be what God had in mind. “Be Still and know, I AM God”. Thx girl, Messy Mendy 👍❤️🙏🏻

P.S. GREAT thought provoking question from your preacher!! He sounds like a strong biblically led preacher. Sounds strange as I am typing but I started noticing that there’s a shift away from this in recent years. I know my brother in law wasn’t trained to do expository sermons and he went to one of the biggest and well known seminaries. My nieces husband went to Washington state because he felt very strongly about getting a good foundation and education that was centered on expository. We live in Texas so it was quite a journey. He did get a strong basis based on Paul’s in his training of Timothy to carry on in what he was given by God. Paul’s transformation is truly miraculous! It’s why he wrote so many of the letters to the different churches. He had a very clear understanding of the church Jesus founded and the importance and responsibility of each individual in affecting the outside community. Just wondering….have you ever listened to Alistair Beggs?? He is fantastic teacher and has gone through different books in chronological order. He is gifted teacher. His sense of humor and Scottish accent are icing on the cake….lol I’m sorry I am rambling on…. But you made MY day!!!!
