Bible Review! NLT Life Application Study Bible Tyndale

I have the NKJV and the NLT Life Application Bibles. My translation of choice has always been the KJV, but the church I attended after moving from California to Arkansas used the NKJV, so I purchased a regular reader's Bible to take to Church with me, and the Life Application to keep at home for more detailed study. Over the last three years or so, I started watching KZbin Bible reviewers and I learned about the other translations that had become available. Naturally, I had to buy some and "test drive" them for myself. I now have several Bibles that I use for study time. Reading other translations helps me better understand some of the more difficult passages in the Bible. And having different Study Bibles also help as well because I have the opportunity to see what other scholars have to say about certain verses. I'm so blessed to have access to the library I have. If I could only have one Study Bible though, it would be the Life Application, I think. :)

@@carmennooner2027 yes I totally agree, having access to a library of study Bibles and resources is such a blessing! I would definitely have to say the life application is one of my favorites as well! The other, probably being the ESV study Bible, but there are so many amazing ones!

What a beautiful bible! Unfortunately, I saw another review a few weeks ago where the person was complaining about this bible having more information than necessary. He particularly pointed out a page where there was one line of scripture and the rest of the page was study notes. He thought that was horrible, and it kind of made me think, "Ugh, no way do I want that." But now, after listening to your review and actually hearing about what all this information is, I definitely want one 🙂 I have been wanting to get closer to God this year and I know this Bible will help me with that. I thank God that He led me to your channel tonight. I have become a subscriber and look forward to seeing other videos you have made ❤

It really is a great Bible and has some great information inside to aid in Bible Study but I always read thru the scriptures first myself allowing God to minister to my heart first before going to commentary or study notes then I use these after that to enhance my study. The good news is they do carry this Bible in a variety of versions. I use the KJV Life Application Bible that my husband got me but I also use the ESV Study Bible, The NLT Illustrated Study Bible, The Handbooks by Daily Grace Co. and multiple other resources to pull my information from. I love this Bible.❤

Really considering buying this bible for christmas. Prob will buy the hardback to save some money though. Will def get the large print. 11 point font isn't that big but, it's a lot better than 8 or 9. 👍 Nice review

This is a remarkable study Bible but as a Senior on a government pension it I going to take me some time to save up and purchase. It is quite expensive (almost $100 CAD) even though it is likely worth every dollar!

I followed along with you going through the Bible. I have the large print in hard back and it looks so much bigger than yours. lol. I had an insane idea to read through the whole Bible with all the notes.

That's funny mine did not come like that, I wish it would of gotten the one you got! it looks so much more prettier, when i bought mine it just came hard cover in green third edition in large print.

I like this Bible, but after a year or so of daily use and study - the binding falls apart! I’ve gone through 2 of these now…and while I want to get a 3rd so I have it to read from, I’m not a fan of the cheap glue down and binding (even their genuine leather is glue down, not sewn). Do you happen to know if they have plans to offer a sewn version?
