Richard you have made some crucial fundamental points here. That it is about Jesus when he was made a little lower than the angels, as I have assumed for most of my pilgrimage that it means us as Image bearers. I'm changes my perspective in the correct biblical history ay in terms of the magnitude of the Incarnation. Also the 'we see Jesus' as essential to the Already of the Kingdom, what a game changer man. We hat that s does is radically shift my faith in the tension point between the Already and Not Yet because it is focused on the implications of His resurrection, ascension, exaltation, glorification and His intercession for us. It puts Psalm 110v1 into perspective, not necessarily a Post mill perspective but the correct Biblical perspective. How tragic that the Western Institutional Church has neglected the holistic nature of true biblical eschatology because of its entrenched Platonic Dualism aka the Greek Sacred/Secular Divide creating compartmentalised Christian minds.
