Paul covers a few topics in his letter to the church at Corinth. In chapters 1-4, he talks about how the church is divided over which teacher they like best. Paul reminds them that teachers and preachers are just human beings, servants of Christ. It's good to have role models, but we shouldn't put them on a pedestal. It is God that we serve and through him that we have salvation. Preachers, teachers, and role models answer to God, just the same as you and me.
