This was really surreal watching. I grew up a strict calvinist. Went to college and had a short atheist stint. Then, I was drawn into the Lord's Recovery that Hank mentions. I'm now about to be chrismated and received into the Orthodox Church. Praise be to God that I have found the True Faith! Worshiping the Undivided Trinity!

@@ChristIsLord7 I left Protestantism and actually did a short stint in Catholicism before Orthodoxy. The change was stimulated by reading patristics and church history. My objective was to find the church that Jesus founded by tracing doctrines backward through church history. I left Protestantism because I discovered in my studies that the Protestants invented new doctrines that didn't exist before the 1500s. I became Catholic under the Society of St Pius X because I rejected the theological novelties of Vatican II. I was stuck there for a really long time because I couldn't figure out who left who during the Great Schism. I talked to loads of Catholics about it and their arguments weren't terrible. The issue is that when I looked at the history and, again tracing back the doctrines, I discovered that #1 the arguments dismissed much of the history and #2 the Orthodox weren't the ones who had changed their theology or practice. This is all before even meeting someone Orthodox or reading anything published through the Orthodox Church. The Orthodox didn't change and as much as I love both my Protestant and Catholic separated brethren, y'all did. I attended my first Divine Liturgy and, while I don't believe that experience is a valid test for truth, I had a deeply moving spiritual experience. I could sense the great cloud of witnesses there with me. By sense I mean that, if you were sitting beside me, just outside my peripheral vision, I would sense you. It was just like that. I swear I could have turned my head and seen the Theotokos or the Deacon Stephen standing beside me. I basically never cry, but I wept with joy through it. Sorry if it was a little long.

Acts 17 29Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device. 30And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:

It's been two years since I first watched this video. Since then, I have been inspired to look into communion and the ancient church. I looked at the history, and at first, I thought the Catholic Church was the right path, but then I discovered Orthodoxy, and now I am coming home this year. After two years, I have verified and found much more true than I have seen in the Protestant church. I have nothing but love for my brothers and sisters, but the completeness I feel is so true, and I have never felt the closeness to God I have now.

I am thankful to be in audience to this conversation. After much study, I have discovered that anytime we conclude in such a way that Christ is no longer at the center and we try to get glory to ourselves, then and only then have we dangerously crossed the line to heresy! Neglecting to give God the glory, thus reaching for our own glory was our down fall from the very beginning in the garden.

Thank you, men! What a true witness to so humbly seek unity. I was a reformed pastor, serving a church and also pursuing post graduate studies in seminary when I seriously began to deal with the early Church, since it was my focus of study. For brevity, my path lead to becoming Catholic. As part of the Western Church, I so happily love my sister Eastern Church. Pope Saint John Paul II, refers to our East and West connection as the church that must breath with two lungs, “Ut Unum Sint”, that we may be one. I have great hope that this unified life giving breath will come to fullness and endure, for Christ has built his Church and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against her. I pray for you, brothers Francis and Hanegraaff, because I know the difficulties you face from those that come at you that are dear friends in the Lord. May almighty God continue to bless you men in all that he has given you to do. I agree with other comments about reaching out to Scott Hahn, also a former reformed pastor and convert to Catholicism. God used his example to help form me. I pray for continued humility and peace for the sake of Christ’s Church!

I have always said that the reformed faith is a back door to Rome. First you read Calvin then Augustine, after that the “fathers” Before long you are so inundated with the doctrines of men that you find yourself bowing to a wafer and praying to the dead who cannot hear prayer. You have made the word of God of none effect by your tradition. Friend, God desires that you believe the gospel, not the traditions of men. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved. It really is that simple.

@@whatistruth2810 no it's not that simple. If that's simple look at the world now, look at the world now, look look look at the world now... Traditions are very important, as Jesus said at the last supper, DO THIS IN REMEMBRANCE OF ME. That's TRADITION. catholic Church does that for 2000 years even today and it will continue. That's the TRADITION I am talking which is important. And bowing to the water and asking intercession with saints as you wrongly mentioned as dead, I will explain you if you are interested to know more. But once I explain its going to shake your foundation. So get ready to enlightened.

@@whatistruth2810 Ironically, your first sentence is a statement of your own doctrine, followed by another and then doctrines of other men. “Bowing to a wafer” and “praying to the dead.” Do you not know the origin of this tradition that disparages the Lord’s Supper and Great Cloud of Witnesses? Are you not aware that our earliest Christian brothers and sisters, under pain of imprisonment, and martyrdom “bowed to bread”, “prayed to the dead” and even collected relics of other faithful martyrs and saints? Do you not know the tradition in which the Holy Scriptures were transmitted, preserved, and handed down to you over the millennia? Then, what interpretative tradition or doctrine did the reformers (a.k.a. a bunch of men) hold in the 16th century, when they began to innovate, creating new Christian doctrine and removed parts of Scripture that weren’t compatible with their own doctrine? These traditions and doctrines manifested in so much division that Christians cannot even worship together, resulting in tens of thousands of denominations today. There are even those that claim to be non-denominational, which ironically have their own set of doctrines and traditions without even knowing it.

@J C A covenant is like an agreement. In this case a marriage agreement between Jesus and His bride. In order to understand what a marriage covenant looks like to God, you need to understand the character and parameters God ALWAYS remains in. This is described as KNOWING Him. Too many people like to define Jesus and God by the New Testament, but He has not changed. Jesus is the Torah, God's living WORD and instructions. The New covenant according to the prophets, will be for Judah and Israel, this is why we must be grafted in. (Jeremiah 31:31-33) The New covenant will be written on our hearts so that we won't sin against Him. If we are in covenant, we are not an adulteress bride FOLLOWING the world, we are FOLLOWING God's commandments, statutes, feasts, Sabbaths, and ordinances. The Bible NEVER says He judges people who live in different times differently, that is a lie that goes against God's very own Laws. It is a lie of Dispensationalism, which claims God's Laws are BONDAGE. This is a HUGE lie! SIN IS BONDAGE and leads to DEATH. Jesus came to purchase His bride and free her from SIN, which is breaking God's Law. His rod and staff are to guide us as He disciplines us to walk according to God's WAY!

Please consider my experience with the Orthodox Church. I was born and raised Syrian Orthodox. Baptized as an infant. Trained under a former chancellor for the metropolitan of NY when I was 19. I left seeking the priesthood to pursue music. When I was 27 I was brought under conviction of how I was conducting my life and started attending the Orthodox church once again. I came to the realization that church membership and cultural identity was secondary to the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. There were several times in my life when I heard the invitation to ask Jesus for salvation. I realized that I never asked Jesus to save me - in spite of my infant baptism, communion and confessions over the years, those things could not save me. I got down on my knees in my apartment and asked Jesus to forgive me of my sins and be my Saviour. That event was a turning point in my life. That simple act of "calling upon the name of the Lord" Rom 10:13 brought a change that I could never achieve through the works of devotion / ascetics. God began a work in me and the Holy Spirit gave me power to desire living a pure life - it was no longer me trying to do these things of myself. I was now compelled by God. He gave me power that I never had. When I went to Orthodox mass, the veil had been removed from my eyes - the mural of Mary and Jesus was stark - for the first time I realized that Mary was bigger than Jesus in the mural. During mass there is a call and response where we would say "Most Holy Theotokos save us" - theotokos is Greek for "Mother of God". The Holy Spirit convicted me - Mary cannot save and needed a Saviour just like any other human. There's a veneration prayer also used by the Orthodox: "It is truly meet to bless thee o theotokos who art blessed and all blameless and the mother of our God, more honorable than the cherubim and more glorious beyond compare than the seraphim, who without stain and barest God the Word and are truly theotokos we magnify thee." This is Mary worship and it is blasphemous. I realized that although I was raised in that tradition and had deep cultural identity with the Syrian Orthodox church, I could not in good conscience continue following that religion. Jesus is the only Saviour. No church saves you. Salvation is of the Lord - which is what Jesus' name means. Feel free to IM me if you wish to discuss any further.

I hear the point you are making. Are you saying that the Orthodox Church is wrong and has been wrong for the last 1600yrs until the Protestant churches were born 500yrs back? I am just trying to understand how you see this. If they are wrong then does that mean that they don't have succession going back to the apostles? If they do then would that not mean that they have the faith handed down from one bishop to the next and that if error crept in then the other bishops would have brought up the issue as we see even through the Ecumenical Councils? And what church do you attend? How do you determine that it is the right one keeping in mind that all Protestant churches are based upon an individual, his interpretation, and his preferred tradition? E.g Martin Luther, John Calvin. I am not asking this to say that you are wrong and I am right. I am asking because I would really love to know how you process all this. Thanks so much.

A clear explanation about this topic from Fr. Andrew Stephen Damick: Presumably, “save” should only be used regarding God Himself. But the Scripture itself doesn’t set that limit. The Apostle Paul is of the opinion that he can save people and that others can do so, too, that they can even save themselves: For I speak to you Gentiles; inasmuch as I am an apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry, if by any means I may provoke to jealousy those who are my flesh and save some of them. (Rom. 11:13-14) For how do you know, O wife, whether you will save your husband? Or how do you know, O husband, whether you will save your wife? (I Cor. 7:16) …to the weak I became as weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some. (I Cor. 9:22) Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you. (I Tim. 4:16) So while we wouldn’t say that all these people and things “save” us in the sense that God alone can save us, we certainly can affirm with the apostles cited here that we “save” one another, that prayer “saves,” and that baptism “saves.” That is, all these things contribute to our salvation which comes solely through Christ. Given all that, and given that we are surrounded by “so great a cloud of witnesses” (Heb. 21:1), the saints who do indeed see and hear us, and especially given that we know they are praying for us (Rev. 5:8), it’s really pretty reasonable to say that the Virgin Mother of our Lord can “save” us.

Francis, we cannot afford to put our hope, our trust, in man or denominations. We are living in the endtimes. There is great deceptions in places where people meet. 1 Corinthians 14:33 For the LORD is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. We must keep our eyes on JESUS, HIS HOLY WORD. We must keep asking for the HOLYSPIRIT to lead and guide us. We born-again believers have the HOLY SPIRIT living within us. HE is our teacher and guide. James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom let him ask of GOD that giveth to all men liberally and upbraideth not it shall be given him. JESUS made it so easy that a child can understand it. The LORD has things for us all to do. We that are born-again, each of us has a personal relationship with JESUS. He is the only one that can lead us and guide us. Born- again believers are the church not buildings or denominations. In Acts 7:48 the BIBLE tells us the Most High does not dwell in temples made with hands. HE JESUS THE HOLYSPIRIT lives and indwells within us. We must keep seeking the LORD and asking HIM to keep us in HIS TRUTH. And HE will keep us in HIS TRUTH. We are here to do our FATHER'S WILL. Let all men fear GOD AND WORSHIP HIM. None of us can do nothing without CHRIST. We only boast in HIM. HE IS WORTHY TO BE PRAISED! HE REIGNS! And HE will come back to judge the earth! Let us be looking for HIS coming! Let us continue to seek HIS FACE, talk to HIM, sing to HIM, and give him the GLORY due unto HIS NAME and daily read HIS WORD and pray, pray, and pray. OUR SHEPHERD will take care of us. HE will never leave us nor forsake us. HALLELUJAH AND PRAISE THE LORD!

@@mitchellc4 Jesus also said in John 17:5 [5] And now, Father, glorify me in your own presence with THE GLORY THAT I HAD WITH YOU BEFORE THE WORLD EXISTED. There are countless verses where Jesus claims to be divine. Jesus never said “I am God” word for word because who would believe that? God, YHWH said that “I am who I am” in Exodus 3:14 [14] God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And he said, “Say this to the people of Israel: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’” In the New Testament it says: John 8:56-59 [56] Your father Abraham rejoiced that he would see my day. He saw it and was glad.” [57] So the Jews said to him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have you seen Abraham?” [58] Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am.” [59] So they picked up stones to throw at him, but Jesus hid himself and went out of the temple. “Jesus has a God! Jesus died! God can’t die” shows how ignorant you are of the Trinity and the Nature of Christ. Your beliefs are heresies condemned by the church for years. The church fathers defended the Trinity from you heretics. May the Triune God have mercy upon you and make you realise that you are in grave danger.

Yes, indeed. The Spirt of God is not divided, right? Why then so many Protestant denominations that none of these can unite in worshipping Christ on the Lord’s day? Does each denomination believe it’s so correct that it would force division? Interesting question for sure.

23:40 If grace is extended the same to all, and God calls everyone - how can one not be genuinely prideful and boastful in their own actions to accept the grace, when compared to the individual who rejects the grace? According to the orthodox video that Mary was sinless - if she was sinless, how is she not our victory? How is she not our example? Does this belief of Mary not rob Jesus Christ of His one unique office of being the first, and One sinless human (after the fall)? He is our victory, and He is our example that we can relate to in all our weakness because he was tempted and did not sin. Should this not only be applied to the God man Jesus Christ - not Mary? Regarding the divisions on the Eucharist - these divisions do not so much reside in “what” the substance of the Eucharist is, rather, the theology around the Eucharist is. There are many reasons, but for example, the Roman Catholic Church (similar to the Orthodox Church) demand that believers who partake in this view of the Eucharist must affirm that there is not only (1) a chance that they *can* lose their salvation, but also (2) that the view of the atonement does not reside in Jesus’ words “it is finished” and (3) this view of the Eucharist does not invite believers to partake in the Eucharist who disagree with some highly concerning beliefs that these churches ( Eastern Orthodox and Roman Catholic) now hold, that the Bible clearly does not affirm. These concerning beliefs are: The sinlessness of Mary - the Bible clearly teaches against it. So did, in fact, many early church fathers. We can find a list of early church fathers that clearly taught that Mary sinned. Yet, they were *not* excommunicated from the church, and they were *not* deprived from the Eucharist for this belief because it defied their conscience. So, why, if some believers are not able to accept Mary was sinless - why are we, today, cut off from having the Eucharist - when early Christians were *not* cut off for believing Mary sinned? Second concerning belief - Many Orthodox and Catholics do not affirm that Jesus bore the anger and wrath of God on the cross. If this is the church’s belief - how would the orthodox and Catholic Church say that God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins? Shouldnt God hate sin? Shouldn’t it deserve punishment? Many orthodox believers I have met do not see punishment necessary - even on Christ. They see Jesus coming as an “example” - not a sin bearer. This is problematic to not think that Jesus absorbed the punishment I am owed for my sins. Also note, wrath and punishment are radically different than God as Father disciplining is. Again, these views the Orthodox Church holds around problematic issues (like, the sinlessness of Mary) that early church fathers were “uncertain of” in history. They were not shut out of the Eucharist for believing Mary was a sinner. The Bible binds my conscience to not affirm this. Mary sinned in the sense that she failed to love God perfectly within all of her heart, soul, mind, and strength every second of every day. She was a wonderful, Godly woman who is a beautiful servant of God. However, she is not sinless. Only Christ lived the perfect life and loved God perfectly with all of His heart, soul, mind, and strength every second of every day. Not Mary. Christ is our victory and our example, and it is saddening to be cut off from the Eucharist for a rejection of this clear, biblically concerning affirmation that the Orthodox Church demands is true. I cannot compromise on the fact that Mary was not perfect. Nor can I compromise on the atonement. Therefore, the Orthodox Church cuts me off - not the other way around. Again, these beliefs were not dogma in the early church, and there was allotted a variation in the views of Mary, without cutting believers out of the body. This doesn’t occur now. Now, it is much different.

Why does partaking of the real presence require joining Eastern Orthodoxy? Also, what points of disagreements about the 8 doctrinal essentials do Protestants actually have with the East? Also again, how is it arrogant to do exegetical and hermeneutical work on your own? I truly don’t understand and I’ve never heard a solid answer that doesn’t just appeal to antiquity

I agree. No one has a monopoly on the Lord's Supper and how it is experienced. Paul's main concern in 1 Cor.17- 34 was the disregard and lack of reverence of partaking in remembrance of his death. And I see no necessary experience prescribed anywhere. As a matter of fact it's all about him because of what he did for us. Praise be to him!

Because the sacraments outside of the Church have no grace. Also, because you do not care for antiquity you will fall into error and stand in arrogance because you truly believe that the scriptures can be better interpreted by yourself rather than Spirit-filled holy men. Also, unless you receive the sacrament of chrismation (which the bible describes) then you have no guarantee of having the Holy Spirit in you. The scriptures did not just pop out of the sky, they had to be agreed upon and accepted by the icon-venerating, sacramental, liturgical Church that existed centuries ago unlike "Pastor Jim's Bible Church" which started existing around the late 1900's and early 2000's. Seriously, you cannot claim to know the faith if you ignore outright it's history. I was a protestant, brother. A protestant who was sick and tired of the constant innovation, irreverence and profound confusion and lack of certain truth within protestantism. Orthodoxy is a bedrock and I've found my home in it because it is the TRUE CHURCH.
@Ioannikios174
@Ioannikios174 4 жыл бұрын
You also have a major disagreement with the doctrine of the Church, brother. You as many other protestants likely believe in the doctrine of the "invisible church" which was invented after the reformation. No one believed that people could form different sects and groups that were entirely different and unassociated from one another and yet still be in "the church" prior to the reformation. That's blatant heresy and foreign to church history.
@ironlion805

@@Ioannikios174 First, you presume to know a lot about my beliefs without knowing me. I’ve been philosophically, theologically, exegetically, and historically trained at a masters level. I’ve studied the patriarchs, eastern and western church history and know both Greek and Hebrew. It is not arrogance to say I know how to interpret while also using historical, critical analysis of the texts. I don’t deny history or the creeds, but they are not the end all of the faith. Secondly, just as the church fathers and all Christians, I too am Holy Spirit filled because God is not a respecter of persons. The prophets, apostles, early church fathers are no different than any other follower of Christ. The church is a universal entity that goes beyond certain distinctions. What is more arrogant and Pharisaical than saying you have the one true church? And if you do, why are you calling me “brother” if I am outside of fellowship of your sect? Your own microcosm of Protestant experience is not monolithic to the whole. You probably have a hard time with Protestant fundamentalism, not realizing that you are embracing an eastern one.

I agree with the idea Francis expressed that it's good to be able to identify things that the church has held for all these years like on sexuality, etc. Investigating the history of these doctrines is so very important. But it bothers me immensely that so many people don't have any trouble with doctrines that only came about in the 13th century, or the 10th, or the 4th, or the 2nd. Why is the 16th century the cut off? I understand that was an important date for the Reformation, but if you can trace a certain doctrine back to the time of Augustine for instance, but no further, then I have some serious problems with that as a fundamental teaching of Christianity, especially if it conflicts with previous writers and the Scripture itself.

The Pharasees believed that they were Leaders who determined the quality of other people’s relationship with God. They labeled Jesus a heretic. I think if Jesus showed up in our day, the majority of these apologist would label Him a heretic. He would still be more at home with the despised than the priest, pastor, or rabbi. The religious establishment would put Him at the top of the Most Hated list. In the Gospel of Luke, chapter 9. One of Jesus’ disciples tells Jesus that he witnessed someone ministering in the Name of Jesus who did not physically associate with them. “Should we forbid him”? They asked. Jesus said no. It is evil because it is to call God and His Word into question. All we have to do is to go to I John 1:8-9 "If we will confess our sin He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sin and cleanse us from all unrighteousness." This is a good discussion. What I would add to Hank's answer on the Eucharist is that I believe reformers like Zwingli were reacting to the new doctrines being pushed by the Roman Catholic church regarding transubstantiation, adoration of the Eucharist, and withholding the cup from the laity. These all really developed out of the 13th century from individual doctors and saints like Thomas Aquinas and Francis of Assisi, yet over time they were enforced on the church under pain of death with men like John Huss being executed in 1415. The council of Constance that condemned Huss also restricted priests from giving the Eucharist in both species under pain of excommunication and threat of the civil authorities. So these guys are definitely on the right track to put away pride and look for humility, and I think the middle path of considering the real presence as a mystery is much more advisable than to try to define it as the Romans do or deny it as many protestants and evangelicals.

I just came out of Mormonism and want to say that just because a large group of well meaning people agree on doctrine they claim is Christ's over time doesn't necessarily mean their doctrines, authority, or church is true. I see the EO church, Catholic church, and protestant churches as man made but filled with true disciples of Christ. The true church of God encompasses all in them that believe in Christ and look to Him as their Lord and Savior. The divisions in Christianity do bother me but I don't think the answer is to submit to group think. I am new to authentic Christianity so I have a lot to learn but after being sucked into a church for 30 plus years that taught that it was the exclusive correct form of Christianity gives me some perspective that I thought might be helpful.

Well said. Interesting discussion about the divisions caused by the thousands of denominations. It is clear no single denomination has a monopoly over the true Christ. Consequently, the bickering, more often apparent than real, between some as to who is the real Church is pointless. It’s like a pack of wolves fighting over a single carcass. It’s demeaning and clearly unchristian. Hank is right to say that it’s not the Church that causes divisions but people that causes the divisions. He fails to see though it can also apply to himself. We all have different views about what the Bible teaches and thus we all have disagreements as well as agreements.. We are all dividers and lack full humbleness. It’s in our nature. That’s why we have the Scriptures as the ultimate written authority of the Word of God. Without them imagine what an even greater mess the Christian world would be by now.

He is working out these ideas, these revelations by asking questions and he wants to get to the truth because he is so serious about following God truthfully as we all should be. I believe all these men are seeking truth and what it means to follow Christ the way we should be. It's just unfortunate that instead of sitting down and talking about things like these men are we decide to label them as something and call them names. You are sewing even more division into the church and indeed making others believe their ideas about church history by affirming it through hostility. The only way we will begin to restore the church into one body is to listen to each other and commit to fruitful dialog. If you cannot even be a genuine listener to someone you disagree with, then how can you ever expect others to listen to you and most importantly begin to truly come together as one church?

The Bible, given to us by GOD (not the church as Hanegraaff stated), clearly states it is Jesus who saves us, and He saves us INDIVIDUALLY. That does not mean we don't need the church. We are one body. When Jesus saves us, INDIVIDUALLY, he joins us to His Body (the Church), and we cannot live full Christian lives without the rest of the body, but we do NOT need the body to be saved. For transgression of the commandment was turning them back to their natural state, so that just as they have had their being out of nothing, so also, as might be expected, they might look for corruption into nothing in the course of time. "For if, out of a former normal state of non-existence, they were called into being by the Presence and loving-kindness of the Word, it followed naturally that when men were bereft of the knowledge of God and were turned back to what was not (for what is evil is not, but what is good is), they should, since they derive their being from God who IS, be everlastingly bereft even of being; in other words, that they should be disintegrated and abide in death and corruption. "For man is by nature mortal, inasmuch as he is made out of what is not; but by reason of his likeness to Him that is (and if he still preserved this likeness by keeping Him in his knowledge) he would stay his natural corruption, and remain incorrupt; as Wisdom [of Solomon 6,18] says: 'The taking heed to His laws is the assurance of immortality;' but being incorrupt, he would live henceforth as God, to which I suppose the divine Scripture refers, when it says: 'I have [Psalm 81,6 in the 77-book Septuagint/Psalm 82 in Masonic 66-book Masoretic Bibles] said ye are gods, and ye are all sons of the most Highest; but ye die like men, and fall as one of the princes.'" I guarantee followers of every religion truly feel and have experienced certain things that make them genuinely believe in whatever it is they are believing in. 2) the reliance on the beliefs of the early church over what is simply said in scripture. We know the early church got things wrong often. It’s why Paul felt the need to continue to bring correction to the various churches he helped found. The early church does not equal scripture alone.

Humility that blinds anyone from clear biblical teaching, is not true humility. Biblical truth is what brings us to true humility before God (and not our human concepts of it). These individuals are treating humility as a sense of lowliness we must seek as opposed to a mind that is humbled and transformed by the truth of scripture alone.

Saved byGraceAlone Humility by definition is a lowly view of ones own importance. Are you implying that we do, or do not need to seek a level of lowliness before God and man? When Jesus asked us to wrap humility around our waist, what exactly did he mean then? Just an honest question.
@savedbygracealone8300
@savedbygracealone8300 4 жыл бұрын
@@jordanhayes791 Hi Jordan, I don't mean to discard the general meaning that humility is a sense of lowliness. However, it's important to understand that true spiritual humility is brought upon us through the knowledge of what scripture reveals about God and our spiritual bankruptcy, which is being poor in spirit Matthew 5:3. A human attempt to be humble can only be measured by a human sense, standard, or feeling of lowliness. That is relative and limited to man's fallible concepts, and not based on the perfect word of God. We cannot make ourselves truly lowly by just trying, we need the Holy Spirit using His inspired word to be able to recognize our spiritual condition before a holy and merciful God. So true humility is an attitude we can put on but it is only the result of God's work in us to do so, for His good pleasure - Philippians 2:12-13. We can humble ourselves, but only because it is God who works in true believers, to will and obey what He works in us. We cannot work out (humility or any other work) without Him first working it in us). True humility is a response to the One who can cause it. But it will not be caused in us apart from scripture. In the context of this CRI episode, determining what is true or not cannot be determined by trying to be humble, but by being humble before the inspired word of God to teach us exactly what He wants us to know. And His word is not subject to human "lowly" opinions as they may want to believe. We come to a true knowledge of God, only through Christ, the Lord - as He is revealed in His word.

You are making a huge assumption, about clear biblical teaching. The reason why these 3 men are having this conversation is because anyone can come up with their own clear biblical teaching, according to their own intellect and their own tradition (sola scriptura is another more recent tradition). It takes humility to acknowledge that a current theology is very far from what the church has believed from the beginning

What would JESUS say to the divisions in the church ? *(Matthew 12:25-26 )”But Jesus knew their thoughts, and said to them: “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand. If Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then will his kingdom stand? JESUS is talking about the kingdom of Satan , but the rule applies to any kingdom even the kingdom of GOD ,according to JESUS a divided kingdom will not stand it will collapse , but the Christian Church is still standing and united in one aspect ,of knowing that GOD is a trinity and we can see GOD THE FATHER only in JESUS CHRIST HIS only begotten SON through the HOLY SPIRIT , we cannot say JESUS CHRIST is LORD except by the HOLY SPIRIT , whether catholic or Protestant or orthodox all are united in this aspect ,and this is not by our own knowledge or strength it is by the grace of the HOLY SPIRIT and by HIS gift of faith that HE bestowed on us , this is the beginning of humility which is to know that the incomprehensible TRINITY has drawn us to HIMSELF through the sacrifice of HIS SON and given us knowledge about HIM to accept and believe in HIM the one true LORD and it is the greatest gift that we have ever received, we still do not know why we have been considered as objects of HIS mercy and those who did not receive CHRIST as objects of wrath for whom HE suffers and grieves long in HIS SPIRIT , in our quest for truth (which is found in CHRIST alone ,THE TRUTH )and knowing about divisions in HIS body we must never forget to give thanks in all circumstances ,especially thank HIM for the grace to know HIM and fall in love with HIM . A Thankful heart will always receive light through the HOLY SPIRIT into all truth . *from the depths of the heart of JESUS came a beautiful prayer of unity (John17:21)”that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.” Now we know that JESUS does not have any unanswered prayers because HE speaks only according to the will of the FATHER , if this what HE asked the FATHER then we must trust HIM that HE unites all who hold on to the TRINITARIAN faith in a mystical way because we are HIS mystical body whose SPIRIT is HIS HOLY SPIRIT , even those who died whether they are Catholics , Protestants or orthodox believing in JESUS are alive because of the one HOLY SPIRIT that we are all baptised into ,because all of us were baptised in the name of THE FATHER and of THE SON and of THE HOLY SPIRIT - as JESUS taught the apostles which are recorded in Matthew 28:19. this was how JESUS wanted the apostles to make disciples of all nations and then HE said teaching them to obey everything I have commanded , in the book of Acts everyone were given a short gospel message about CHRIST ‘s resurrection from the dead and baptised in water and then prayed over for them to receive the HOLY SPIRIT , teaching everything that JESUS commanded is practically impossible to do it all at once , therefore there were 2 ministries evolving in the church one was sowing the seed ( gospel message about JESUS ) and watering the seed ( teaching everything HE commanded ) but ultimately it is GOD to who made and makes everything grow. Now the church is made up of different individuals who have been bestowed by different gifts to do different good works by the same HOLY SPIRIT , our differences begin inside the body of CHRIST itself that too in the office of the individual functioning to build each other up , because though we are many parts we are still one body and our head is CHRIST, so it means every part by default has to receive information from the head as in a normal human body (Romans 12:5-10). Now a man ( eg Luther )would have seen corruption happening in the early church or would have seen ravenous wolves as Sheperds trying to plunder the LORD’s sheep in a particular place and felt at that time that his decision to leave the church and bring that corruption into the open is the right thing to do , he did not sin by doing it , what he did was different from the prodigal son wanting to enjoy the pleasures of the world dividing HIMSELF from the FATHER went away from HIS FATHER’s house , but what he did not know was that even if he divided the body of CHRIST, he would still see ravenous wolves trying to plunder the sheep in every denomination though its founder would have had a valuable reason to divide , also those who divided did not think about the sheep who stayed in their own church but were innocent like doves , when the accusation is made against a denomination the different individuals who were innocent like doves were also accused together , but GOD is not like us HE has compassion on all HE created , HE takes care of the sparrows also . HE alone makes the right judgement , HE judges with love because HE is love , HE loves the Pope , loves the beggar in the street ( Eg, Lazarus who went to heaven ) he loves the Pastor in a small church teaching the gospel everyone in the same way which is infinitely because GOD is infinite love . It is not the denominations that divide the body , it is the judgement that one Christian individual in a particular denomination makes on another Christian denomination that really hurts the heart of GOD also this is dangerous position to be , eg : regarding the EUCHARIST,the Catholic priest or an orthodox priest prays and invokes the HOLY SPIRIT to come over the bread and wine in the altar so that it will become the body and blood of JESUS , the belief is that when the words of JESUS which are SPIRIT and LIFE are repeated saying “this is my Body and this my blood “, the HOLY SPIRIT transforms the substance into CHRIST’s body and blood , here faith is placed in the work of the HOLY SPIRIT , similarly a Protestant minister who drives out a demon in the name of JESUS places his faith in the work of the HOLY SPIRIT , when judgement is made on the work of the HOLY SPIRIT then it becomes an unforgivable sin ,JESUS says in (Matthew 12:30-32) “Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters. And so I tell you, any sin and blasphemy can be forgiven. ... And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven." You see this settles everything, JESUS said any sin and blasphemy can be forgiven even the sin of speaking a word against JESUS the SON OF GOD , we must remember that all of us are sinners and JESUS says any sin and blasphemy can be forgiven , it is forgiven only when we forgive those who sin against us every day from our heart like the way HE taught us in the ‘LORD’s prayer ‘, in other words (1 Peter 4:8) “ love covers over a multitude of sins.” When we talk about love we all remember 1 Corinthians 13 where the qualities of love is listed but 1 Corinthians 13: 12 says “For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.” Love teaches us that all of us irrespective of the denominations right now know only in part , no one can claim that HE has knowledge about everything pertaining to the things of GOD , all of us must accept this truth in humility and pray together this most important prayer that will unite us together in heaven , which is “LORD make me humble take away from me any knowledge or wisdom or revelation that I think I know fully but in reality I know only in part which may lead me to blaspheme against YOUR most HOLY SPIRIT , dear LORD never let me blaspheme against the HOLY SPIRIT because you said this is the only sin that cannot be forgiven , put a tight rein in my tongue so that I may not deceive myself , HOLY SPIRIT you alone speak through me and may your love alone flow through me to every brother and sister irrespective of the denominations ( not divisions)in the body of CHRIST which in the eyes of CHRIST is one body which is so united just as HE is united with GOD the FATHER then I am safe and my soul rejoices in YOU . I love YOU GOD THE FATHER THE SON AND THE HOLY SPIRIT . In JESUS name I pray . Amen . (1 Corinthians 7:20)”Each person should remain in the situation they were in when God called them.” Also (James 4:14,15) “Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.Instead, you ought to say, "If it is the Lord's will, we will live and do this or that." It is the LORD’s will for our life that matters ,and his will for the human body is that each part should function according to the purpose for which it was placed in that particular place , this can be said also of the mystical one body of CHRIST which is the church . Amen .🤗✝️

The answer to the question proposed in the title of this video is simple. Jesus did not come to start a new religion, he came to show where the leaders of Judaism had veered to the right and to the left and therefore were no longer on the straight and narrow path. Jesus was a Torah observant Jew, you do not follow him by becoming a Christian. To follow him means to first consider what it is to become a Jew and then recognize the differences he had with the Jewish leadership of his day. He fought with the Sadducees about the possibility of life for the soul after the death of the body and in cleansing the temple told them, just as Jeremiah did at 7:22, that God does not desire an animal sacrifice. His message to the Pharisees was that only a prophet of God was allowed to interpret the law of Moses. When the prophets say the Torah has been changed we are to listen to it, but if a man says we must do this or that and it's not in the Torah we are not to follow the instructions of men. The good news he preached to the masses was certainly not "I'm going to be publicly executed as a sacrifice for your sins." It was that God is not a righteous judge who demands a punishment when you sin. He is a loving father who does not care what you did in the past only what you would do given the opportunity in the future and that if you forgive your siblings for any of their faults he will forgive you any and all of yours. What better news could there possibly be? Paul and his friend Luke created a new religion Christianity. This new religion blended some Judaism with paganism and was later further modified by John, who claims to be a disciple of Yeshua, turning Jesus into God. Christianity is divided because it is actually three different religions at war with each other. Some Christians follow more of Paul while others follow more of John, but very few find their way to follow Yeshua as witnessed to by his brothers James and Jude and two hand-picked disciples, Matthew the tax collector and Peter the illiterate fisherman through the hand of Mark. If they did they would leave Christianity and look to the foundations of Karaite Judaism, the form of Judaism preached by Jesus. Shalom

So much talk about the church being in agreement in the early days and so on, as if it were true. No, it wasn't true. Peter had to be rebuked by Paul. Paul disagreed with Silas and split. James and Paul and Peter didn't agree at first and had a doctrine written up. Paul didn't want to have John Mark on the team for a period of time. In many of the letters you will find rebukes of certain other 'followers' and sometimes even names called out. Even the book of Revelations reveals 7 churches that definitely did NOT all have the same doctrines or walks. I was raised Roman Catholic. My parents were extremely devout, and my mother worked for the priest's rectory. My parents went on vacation with them. I was an altar girl. We have a life-sized stature of Jesus in the living room and a statue of Mary in the pasture. We said the rosary every night. Yes, you heard that right. The priests used our front lawn for their garden. I knew them inside and out. We all did. Inside. And. Out. I'm going to tell you something. It was dead, and all those I knew were dead. It was religion. There was no peace, joy, or separation from the world. Outside of Sunday, we were all no different from the unbeliever next to us. If you are Catholic, I mean no offense, but just sharing my very internal knowledge of the church from deep within. I vehemently disagree that we are not saved in a moment of time. I see that scripture teaches salvation begins in a moment, and we are being changed and sanctified day by day. By the Holy Spirit, through the word. Just like Paul had to write and rebuke and correct and call out false living and false teaching amongst churches and church leaders, there was a reason for the reformation and for the rebuke and breaking away from the hypocritical and outrageous things going in in the name of religion in the 'church'. Even Jesus had to. Five out of seven churches. I was saved in a moment. Yes, the body is a necessity! We need to respect the church leaders! Yet, not blindly to the point of letting go of our own immersing in His word, or trust of the Holy Spirit's guidance. Paul COMMENDED the Bereans, He didn't tell them to blindly trust and follow church leaders.

Its pretty arrrogant to come with the claim: If you are disagreeing with us talking here, you are a divider! There is no human middleman between God and man. Its Jesus Christ and Him alone. Its all the false teaching that divides the Church, all the new/old ideologies that disguise as the gospel. Not the people that call it out. We are saved in Christ alone, by faith alone. The humble are those who bow before the holy God. Not before any man or institution!

@@pierreschiffer3180 Yes, I stand to the possibility that what i believe is not true. We can not know with 100% certainty i think. I can see how my answer didnt maybe seem that humble, thank you for asking anyway. It was not my meaning to come off that sharp. To further answer your question I have to say: Still though, I see a lot of scriptural justification for us being saved by Christ alone, by faith and not by work (galatians and romans are full of the latter especially). This has become such a big freedom for me, as I earlier unknowingly never felt i did enough to be justified. And it came down to a theology in my heart that was about what I could do and that I could be great, rather that what Jesus already did, and that He is great! And I think everyone of us are sinners, and cannot measure up to Gods standard,- I think thats why Jesus died for our sins. I would very much like to hear your thoughts about this. Do you think there is another way we are being saved and justified, and would you give me some reasons for that?

@@lenak2307 WoW: you are the first to ever admit that she can be wrong: my respect to you. How great and powerful. I pose this question to many and all avoid the question and never answer. What I see in Scripture is indeed several passages which can be understood as monergism: God does everything and all we have to do is nothing. Yet, the early Church never interpreted things like this. I also see many passages indicating that we are required to put in our own efforts, especially with the words of Jesus Himself. Now what we see in the Protestant world is both sides are being hold to in different churches. This cannot be: there is only one Gospel: not two or more. What I believe is this: we are not to compose our own gospel message based on our own reading of Scripture. That way every man goes by their own message, which is not from God, but rather from man. The message of Jesus is also for those who cannot even read - and in earlier centuries this was the huge majority! -: the message is for us to accept His Gospel rather than to come up with our own. Finally, I understand that believing as you do has become a huge freedom for you, as you write, but this should not be our measure. We are to believe what is true, whether it is relieving for us or not: maybe we for example need a lot of conversion and in that case we do not see a message as relieving, but rather as burdensome. Yet, we are to accept it if it is true. What I learned is that we can only have one goal and that is to find what is true. In Protestantism everyone goes by another variant on the one Gospel: who is right then if there are so many different ones? All of these are composed by men: Luther, Calvin, Wesley, Piper, etc. Yet the early Church was united in one single Gospel: that is where I stand.

@@pierreschiffer3180 Thank you for interacting so respectfully and sharing your thoughts. I can see much of what you describe and follow you in many of your thoughts. But I guess our roads go separate ways in our view of how (not to) to interpret scripture. I understand that you are under the common catholic perseption that there is a institutional human interpreter between us and Gods word. As you say: We shold not interpret on our own. As I see it this is contradictive to the scripture, that I see obviously states that we are saved by Christ alone and there is no middleman between us and God, but Jesus Christ. And that He gave us His Spirit to intrepret scripture for us. I see your concern regarding us fallable humans danger of interpreting scripture the way we want. Mee too. But an even greater danger, I think, is to gather all that "power" in the hands of a few influencial unquestionable, and altso fallable, men! (Cause you dont think the catholic fathers and the pope is without sin?) Its pretty clear to me that Jesus said that the Holy Spirit is the one that will be our guide and lead us to the truth, and interpret scripture for us. Without the Holy Spirit we cannot do this. But I see the possibility for you not to be able to take any of my thoughts on the bible seriously, as your belief is that I (without a catholic superiprity) am not able to have authority in bible matters. This I think is a dangerous road to take, as all humans are corrupted and that especially people with much power, is in danger of going astray. Yes, I agree with you that even though we can experience relief with truths we come to, that doesnt nessisarily mean its true! I dont base my faith on experience and feelings, then it will not last. I agree we need to bear fruit (good deeds), but believe thats what it is: fruit! But often in both protestant and catholic invironments, we put deeds at the root, and faith as a fruit, instead of the oppisite. I believe its only the Holy Spirit that can produce His fruit in my life, through me laying down my life and surrendering my whole heart to Jesus. When we make us worthy of being saved, its on us the burden lies and the honor often goes. That has the potential to make us great instead of God I think. How do you mean a man (or woman) can be saved, if not be Christ alone? Are our deeds saving us? What about the nature of sin, do you believe in that? Finally, about the diversion amongst especially protestant (and often charismatic wich is the one i can speak up about) churches: This is fairly obvious a chaotic sight these days. I think worse now than before. I believe we have believed and taught the wrong gospel (prosparity/ faith moovement), wich sets humans in the centre instead of God. Many churches has allowed new age to infiltrate the church in such a massive scale, its driven us far away from the real gospel. I believe there is a great spiritual deseption in our time. Where there is the real thing, I think there is also the fake. I believe we all see bits and pieces, and absolutely dont think i see all! But I hold up the truth that the bible is the highest authority, and the gospel is so simple not a fool shall be bewildered. And that there is no middleman between God and us, but Jesus Christ and Him alone.

To you Hank H. Oh how I wish you were humble. If you were humble you would not be attacking the new grace movement. You've been telling everyone what is right for 40 years and are now admitting you were wrong about quite a few things. My wife contends you joined the Orthodox so you would have more liturgy to enforce, since Baptists are heading in the direction of grace. I have no idea. If you were humble you would not mock the reformation. If you were humble you would not call your critiques trailer trash. What is your solution? Cancel culture? Put a screen up to separate you from the trailer trash. Silence anyone who disagrees with you. In humility you want your voice to be the one uncontested voice, now that you are more right than before. Humility would demand that you promote your view but not unfairly attack others, especially with attacking others status. Have you sunk so low, or just know that the orthodoxy that you now support has not defense so you have reverted to attacking individuals. I guess if you win, all of us independent, led by the Spirit believers in Jesus will see you at the stake. We are more than willing to be crucified for Christ, are you? I'm a lifelong protestant. But I am looking with great curiosity into the Catholic and Orthodox churches. I think I'm pretty well informed on the core doctrines and dogmas. But a few things still bug me. For one, I am actually more attracted to the divine liturgy of the Orthodox Church. The understanding of salvation I've come to is very much in line with Orthodox theology. However, I've noticed that western Christianity is very intellectual while eastern Christianity is more focused on mystery. I am so primed by my heritage and my own natural inclination to take a very intellectual approach to things. So, I feel very at home with the Catholic intellectual tradition. But, the Eucharist in the Orthodox church strikes me as more complete since it involves parishioners consuming both the body and blood and not just the body as in the Catholic Church. It's also, presumably, closer to Jesus and the early church culturally. Another thing. I hate the division between Catholic and Orthodox! I find the arguments about the primacy of Peter compelling. But I can see the Orthodox argument that the successor of Peter was never meant to have universal and unilateral authority. The idea of him being eldest among brothers and first among equals, that the bishops do nothing without his consent and he does nothing without their consent strikes me as a much healthier model. So, for me, do I go with the one I'm descended from, the Catholic Church, or the one closer to the culture of Jesus and the early church?

Call me simple, but we have the Bible. Acts clearly shows what the church looks like in action and all the letters tells us how to deal with issues and correct problems. Acts, the epistles and OT are all built upon the Gospels. We don't need to study the early churches to try figure it out. Just imagine if future christians research our age and reading all the commentary and self helps books of today, the church is so far from what it should be, they would be studying error. Like maybe these guys were authentically and legitimately led to their Orthodox beliefs but at the same time, God is not leading everyone to express their faith like that? Like different parts of the Body express their faith in different ways and we each bring some of the Revelation to the table? My favorite part of this was the statement about how the absence of the truth does not condemn. It’s the denial of truth that condemns! When you are presented the truth, the ball is now in your court. Will you choose to accept it or not? 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. A question I would have loved to ask all three of these men is, when it was said the church in the first millennia believed the Eucharist was treated as literally being the body and blood of Jesus, is this teaching taught in Scripture? Sure, this may have been the emphasis throughout the church in the first millennia, but they were made up of fallible men and woman just like the church is today. For example, the Didache. This work is believed to date all the way back to the first, possibly second century a. d. One of the things I remember being in it was instructions how to baptize. They believed a true baptism was being baptized in running water just as Jesus was. They also give instructions of what to do if this isn’t possible. When I heard this, my first thought was, “Wow! It sure didn’t take long for a legalistic mindset to creep into the church!” No where in scripture is it commanded to be baptized in running water! Why would this be thought of as important? I’m not saying the early Christians were wrong to believe this. This simply testifies to how in awe these early Christians were of Jesus Christ, something the church has lost today! They wanted to do everything the way Jesus did it. And knowing what Jesus said about communion, how this was his body and blood, did their awe and respect for Jesus lead them to take this literally? This wouldn’t have been the first time Jesus’ followers misunderstood what He was saying. His own disciples still thought He was going to take over the Romans even after He was resurrected. It’s not the men who wrote the books that comprise what we know as the Bible who were infallible. The Holy Spirit who inspired them was(is)! The first century church; the first millennia church; the church today were/are not infallible. Because of this, could they have been wrong about the bread and cup being the literal body and blood of Jesus? In no way do I believe this would somehow diminish the Lord’s Supper! We are eternally indebted to this communion feast! Without it, there’s no reason to even assemble! Without what it represents, we are of all men the most to be pitied as Paul said! On the other hand, John 6:22-66 has always been troublesome to me. Why would Jesus say His body and blood was true food and drink (v55)? Could it be that the bread and wine actually turn into His body and blood? Sure, I guess. But Jesus also told the woman at the well that the water He gives will become a “fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.” (John 4:14) We don’t literally have a fountain of water springing up inside of us. Nevertheless, this is no less true, spiritually speaking! I John 1:7 tells us the blood of Jesus purifies (or cleanses) us from sin. This isn’t literal, like we take a shower and bathe in blood. Yet, spiritually speaking, we are truly cleansed by Christ’s blood. Matthew 26:26-28 tells us, “And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.” Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.” When Jesus said to take and eat, take and drink, He was holding a piece of bread. He was drinking wine. Yet He said this was His body and blood. This scripture alone should tell us communion is meant to represent His sacrifice on the cross, not to reenact it! His blood is indeed drink and His body is indeed food in the very real sense that the fruit of the Spirit is real food for our souls. I think this is a hard teaching to accept for the reason that so many people take this literally when Jesus never meant it to be taken that way. No wonder Christians are thought of as cannibals to the unbelieving world! But if certain Christians want to believe this, just don’t make it a point of worship! The practice of communion itself is essential to our faith and just as powerful and meaningful to those who don’t take it literally as it is to those who do!

Thank you for this. I think that if you are seeking the Lord with all your heart and fully humble yourself to the Lord, you will not take sound bites to prove your point. You will consistently seek truth with the Holy Spirit being your teacher with your point of view in the back seat and the Holy Spirit in the front seat showing you His Truth. Corinthians, 4; 5.

I am surprised that no commenters pick up on what Hank said (24:20) about Zwingli on the subject of Eucharist (See Francis face and his winking). I know they are using Eucharist as a point of discussion concerning church unity. However, one needs to look at the whole process and historical context that bread and wine must be consecrated by a priest before communion. The notion that you need someone else (a priest) to take communion seems to contradict with what Christ has done for us, to be the only high priest needed before God. Given Zwingli dilemma, he could have sticked with the old notion but the consequence is that you need a priest to go before the high priest…I hope you see the irony. What I am saying is that absolute power tends to corrupt absolutely. When you see what the Catholic Church did wrong vs. right in the Middle Ages till now, you may see that denomination is a sign of progress and revival. The discussion is highly appreciated for we all learn to humble ourselves in the pursuit of truth and salvation. Humility and fear of the Lord is the only way to please God.

I only wish that Ravi Zacharias was still with us. I would love for him to have taken part in this discussion, but he was out sharing Christ with college students almost up to the end of his earthly life.

Yes! Same! We need to become NOTHING so God can become our EVERYTHING! we need to surrender daily and take up our cross and follow Him! Lay everything down at His feet! Would mean a lot if yall would check out my husbands sermons. He let's God move and speak through him. Its all about God! Not us! We are just vessels for His GLORY!!! God is so good! He helps me every day to fight stage 3 crps (wprst pain on national pain scale called the suicide disease) and helped me to overcome what doctors said I couldn't and now we have our own ministry on facebook and tiktok and God lead us to each other in His perfect timing on smule and now we have church on smule every Thursday on our group "overcome." We have church twice a week as well. I was bedridden for years and although I cant walk far and have to take a wheelchair, have to recover for a day to two to small things etc I was told my legs and feet would be amputated and I would die! I have not died,but I die daily to self!!! I live for God! Phillipinans 1:21 "to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain." Im an overcomer through Christ who strengthens me and whoever reads this know God is with you and will never forsake you! So important to get alone with God and read the Bible and know it for yourself so you can test the spirits and teachers to know who is real and who is false and have a real relationship with God. If anyone needs prayer please contact us on facebook or under a comment on a video of ours. God bless yall! We all need to be humble and have a servants heart. My husband kneels down when my feet are super red and swollen from the stage 3 crps and erythromelalgia (they burn on fire) and he kisses them to show me that he is here to serve me with love. He is here to serve God and serve me by loving and following God first and leading me with Christs love. We are here to serve God! Not the other way around . God doesn't exist to serve us as so many sadly think. We are not here for things of this world and wordly desires and self but here for the truth, for living for God, to be servants for Christ and to love others and serve them.

Well, Ravi Zacharias would certainly fit in with these three , Chan, Yohannan, and Hanegraaff.
