God providentially sustains His people as He prepares them to receive His promise. It is wonderful to see that in Moses life. With the exile of Moses, God humbled his heart to be able to do His will. Moses killed an Egyptian in revenge for his brethren’s suffering. He knows that He is the deliverer of Israelites that’s why he had compassion for them. But, he is too well aware of his position and power that he killed another person.He break up the fight between two Israelites addressing that hurting people is wrong but he did not see that his own doing. This shows that he is self righteous. He thought that through his power, position and knowledge that God will use him for God’s purpose but God humbled Moses’ heart. God prepared Moses’ heart to receive the promise. Moses grew up in the luxury of the palace but later aged in the humble place of Midian. It is not through Moses’ position, power and might that the Israelites were delivered from the Egyptians but through God’s power and might. And no matter what we have done, God’s words shall be done. It is not because of us but who God is. Thank you for your bible studies. I’ve been with you since Genesis. ☺️

@@BibleBujo You know, of all the other videos I've watched that explain different chapters of the bible, yours is the most aesthetically pleasing. I love it so much and how you explain everything. I think this is what makes you also stand out from those other videos. Even your hand writing is so cute and beautiful.

I am back on your channel. The second day in a row! I started with the book of Exodus in my "read the whole bible plan." Maybe I should have started with Genesis, but for some reason my heart was drawn to Exodus first. I like how simple your bible studies are. I really want to know more about God. What stood out to me was how long Moses stayed in voluntary exile in Midian. He could have stayed home, but of course Pharaoh was after him. He must have been stressed. I wonder why he chose Midian. Sometimes I feel like in our lives, we are running from something too that is dangerous to us (maybe an unsafe home, maybe a career that makes you miserable - of course these things DO NOT compare to a King that wants to kill you lol), and during that time of running and hiding, you're just surviving and you feel like you don't have purpose. When you're just focused on surviving, you're not really living. Not sure if I make sense but that's what stood out to me. Thanks for your channel!!

Moses's mother, Jochebed (Exodus 6:20), had a son named Aaron (Exodus 4:14), who was 3 years older than Moses (Exodus 7:7) Miriam was Moses's sister's name(Exodus 15:20). I am not trying to sound like I am smarter than you, just trying to give you more info that you may already know at the point I am writing this! God bless!

I think the word for “just knowing” is intuition. I am not sure if this is what you were looking for. Some scientific papers state that intuition is because there are facts and clues that we unconsciously process in our mind. We might not pay attention to them, however, our brain tries to analyze them in order to make sense of them. This creates this sensation of “gut feeling” and “just knowing”. Some people are highly intuitives, others are not. I have always questioned myself on that. I don’t know if it is how God talks. It has always puzzled me. Also lately, I have been trying to question everything, even God existence. I guess the more knowledge one gets, the more challenging it becomes to believe in God. Science can explain a lot of things. At the same time, it cannot comprehend many things either. Anyways, since God created everything, I believe that through science, he helps us to understand how he communicates. I am not sure if anyone feels like that. Have you ever had moments of doubts on the existence of God? And how did you handle it? I have noticed that society creates a bunch of lies, tales, rules, and so many other things to tame us and guide our thoughts. I don’t want to ever lose my faith in God, but there are so many things that do not make sense. At the same time, if God does not exist, life would be worthless. Thanks for sharing this video! I always learn a lot from them.
@BibleBujo4 жыл бұрын
Yes intuition! That's the word I was trying to think of lol. I think we have all questioned certain aspects of God but at the end of the day, I tell myself that there are just some things that I'll never understand. I have peace with not knowing or understanding everything and just have faith that if God said it then it is so.
@BibleBujo4 жыл бұрын
Also, I hear from God through many ways, but the most common are through sermons/reading the word and having that sense of knowing/intuition. I do have a video on hearing from God if you're interested. Hope this helps 😊
