The goodnews there's Creator who create The whole universe and the life. He create us like in His own image He called us His Masterpiece. He loves, cares and gaves us everything we need. But the bad news is we rebelled on Him , we deny Him , we curse Him and suddenly the world changes at all because of our Sins. The Glory of God has been take away because of our sins we deserve curse and punishment. But here's the Goodnews after all the curse and punishment that we may been experience in our life but He show the riches of His mercy and grace by giving His own life in the 2000 years ago the Creator our God became a human It was Jesus Christ from Nazareth he's perfect and sinless man who gave his life on the cross to take the punishment for the sin of the world and you may not know it at all. No human could have fixed the psychological connections my brain had formed with connecting sexual desires to men....but GOD can and He does daily. I dont know you but you should really give God a shot at fixing whatever it is you struggle with because NOTHING is too hard for Him! @@shawnroberts3320 then riddle me this why when I was Christan I was given a diagnosis for depression and it stayed like that for around 20 months yet when I stopped going to church after only a month it was gone and I know that this is connected because I had been taking therapy sessions every week since I got the diagnosis and the Sunday I stopped going my therapist made a note of it and after month she said that my depression was all but gone and the only change I made in my life had been not going to church and after 2 weeks I became a atheist Sounds more like "god" was causing bad things to happen and besides most of those places that try to turn gays into straight people are using the bible and it's belief structure

But what it sounds like, at least to me, is that you were seeking religion rather than a relationship with Jesus. Seeking religion with no relationship, and all the rules attached to it, always leads to rebellion and, in turn, causes SEVERE depression because you'll always realize you can never meet the criteria required to be "perfect." A relationship with God is different in that we realize that God understands we aren't perfect and we will never be perfect. Instead, He gives us undeserved grace and mercy when we slip. Thats why He sent Jesus. Jesus loves you so so SOOOO much and the enemy is only trying to get you to believe God caused bad things to happen to you. The Bible reveals to us that God causes all things to work together for the GOOD of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. It also states that that God knows the plans He has for ALL of us. Plans to proser us and not to harm us. Plans to give us a hope and a future. I'm so willing to contact you if you'd like! Grace is a common word in Christian culture (think “saved by grace” or “amazing grace”), but did you know that “gracious,” as a description of God’s character, first appears in the Old Testament? The ancient Hebrew word for grace (Hebrew: khen) describes something that is elegant looking or beautiful, like a deer (Proverbs 5:19) or a necklace (Proverbs 3:22). These beautiful objects generate a response of favor in the viewer, and that’s actually how the word is often translated. In the Hebrew Bible, to show someone grace is to treat them as the object of your delight or to show them generous favor. This meaning is very common in stories about people who like each other (like Jonathan and David in 1 Samuel 20:29). But what’s more surprising is when this word is used for someone “showing khen” to a person who doesn’t deserve it. We see this when Jacob asks his brother Esau for khen twenty years after cheating and lying to him (Genesis 33:8-10), or when David asks God for khen after committing murder and adultery (see Psalm 51:1). And it is this meaning-undeserved favor and delight-that is the focus of Exodus 34:6 when God calls himself gracious. God’s essential character is generous and giving, showing favor and delight to people even when they don’t deserve it. This idea of grace as an undeserved gift is also used in the New Testament. The apostles saw Jesus as the most amazing gift! John actually paraphrases Exodus 34:6 when he says that Jesus, the God of Israel become human, was “full of grace.” Jesus is the very incarnation of God’s generous delight. In my own experience, listening to secular music and immersing myself in worldly content makes my mental and spiritual health suffer. When I started listening to sermons and focusing on the things of God, I started feeling better mostly because I’m drawing closer to Him and seeking to know Him. Yep. One of my pastors defined grace as "undeserved kindness, freely bestowed."

That's right, we canot *earn* grace. The question of the day is *"Who gets God's mercy and grace?"* God's mercy and grace are *promised* -not earned- to those who *merit* it by *obeying God's instructions:* ⚫ "And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent" (Acts 17:30) ⚫ "He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy." (Proverbs 28:13) ⚫ "Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him . . . " (Isaiah 55:7) If we'll obey and come to God in repentance, we will enter God's mercy and grace, as promised. Our past sins will be blotted out: ⚫ "Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord" (Acts 3:19, NKJV). How will we enter "the presence of the Lord"? By receiving the holy spirit, which is given "to them that obey him" and "repent": ⚫ "And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him." (Acts 5:32) ⚫ "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." (Acts 2:38) If we have commited to confessing and forsaking sin, we are given the holy spirit to help lead us out of slavery to sin. Through the holy spirit Jesus will lead us out of slavery to sin - and into His righteousness (Hebrews 12:11) - as long as we abide in Him and follow the holy spirit (Romans 8:13,14). Jesus says ⚫ "As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent." (Jesus, in Revelation 3:19) And as long as we abide in Him in repentance and "walk . . . after the spirit" we remain in justification -not under condemnation: ⚫ "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit." (Romans 8:1) While we abide in Him in repentance and "walk . . . after the spirit" we have the hope of salvation: the promised gift of eternal life, to be received - by grace - at Jesus' "revelation," His return: ⚫ "But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ" (Paul, in 1 Thessalonians 5:8,9). ⚫ "And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life" (1 John 2:25). ⚫ "Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;" (1 Peter 1:13) While we abide in Him in repentance and "walk . . . in the light" we remain in justification, and He continues to cover - with His blood - what sins we might commit: ⚫ "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin." (1 John 1:7) Outside of abiding in Him in repentance, we remain outside His promised mercy, grace and redemption. We will perish, paying our own death penalty. That's why Jesus warned ⚫ "except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish." (Jesus, in Luke 13:5) Peter makes it clear: come to repentance, or else perish: ⚫ "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." (2 Peter 3:9) Jesus told His disciples to preach "repentance and remission of sins" . . . not "faith alone" . . . not "faith + nothing = salvation": ⚫ "Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that *repentance and remission of sins* should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem." (Luke 24:45-47) Jesus made His death, His blood, available as a ransom (the noun, Matthew 20:28) . . . available - by grace - to cover the death penalty we earn for sin. We can have that mercy and grace - as promised - if we *"through"* faith (Eph 2:8) will decide to "come to God" (Hebrews 11:6) on His terms, confessing and forsaking sin (Proverbs 28:13).

Please pray for me. I've been suffering skin problems as a teenage girl. Most of my peers has flawless skin, and with mine I felt uncomfortable and I lost all my confidence. But I do not linger on that thought. Jesus is my healer. He is full of mercy and grace. By His name I will be healed. Just let Him touch my face and He will grant me a brand new skin. All I ask is to be healed. Jesus is the best doctor. I believe in Him. For years I've been suffering this, it's time to come to the Lord Jesus Christ to renew me inside and out. He is the miracle worker after all! Thank you Lord Jesus! Praise be in Your name!

I made a promise straight to God’s face about a week ago that I would give something up, starting that day, forever. Something I won’t get into here but it’s indeed sinful. Today, I broke that promise and knowing it was one I made to God (as opposed to a neighbor, say), it left me with deep, deep regret. I gave myself what I deserved by disallowing myself of certain things, which ultimately will, unfortunately, affect how I’ll be able to do Christmas gifts this year. So my self-inflicted punishment actually bled over onto other people, so it was ultimately a selfish act. This video brought to light that God is graceful and all I need to do is ask, even if I break his heart like that. I knew that character trait about him but this video was an excellent reminder, so thank God for the Bible Project!
