The LORD said to Satan, “From where have you come?” Satan answered the LORD and said, *“From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking up and down on it.”* Isaiah 14:9-17 "Sheol beneath is stirred up to meet you when you come; it rouses the shades to greet you, all who were leaders of the earth; it raises from their thrones all who were kings of the nations. You were in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone was your covering, sardius, topaz, and diamond, beryl, onyx, and jasper, sapphire, emerald, and carbuncle; and crafted in gold were your settings and your engravings. I placed you; you were on the holy mountain of God; in the midst of the stones of fire you walked. * You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created, till unrighteousness was found in you. In the abundance of your trade you were filled with violence in your midst, and you sinned; so I cast you as a profane thing from the mountain of God, and I destroyed you, O guardian cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. Your heart was proud because of your beauty; you corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor. I cast you to the ground; I exposed you before kings, to feast their eyes on you. By the multitude of your iniquities, in the unrighteousness of your trade you profaned your sanctuaries; so I brought fire out from your midst; it consumed you, and I turned you to ashes on the earth in the sight of all who saw you. All who know you among the peoples are appalled at you; you have come to a dreadful end and shall be no more forever.” Genesis 6:2, 6:4 "When human beings began to increase in number on the earth and daughters were born to them, the *sons of God* saw that the daughters of humans were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose. @@JohanLindhe All of these videos are based on a book called the "Unseen Realm" by Michael Heiser where he goes through all of this in way more detail, according to what was written by the original biblical authors in hebrew and greek. These videos are like brief summaries compared to the book so if you're really interested to learn more and don't want to wait for the next video, start reading the book. It's really good. I believe in the book it says that the authors are talking about different spiritual rebels when it refers to the "Angels in gloomy darkness". The chronology is something like: 1st. original spiritual rebel: the "serpent" in the garden 2nd. the sons of God who mated with woman (they were punished, but their "children" lived on) 3rd. even more sons of God who rebelled after the flood leading to Babel and God allowing them to rule over the separated nations Of course, I'm still reading the book so I could have that wrong.

@@key1792I like how you think 18 is some magical age when they can just decide everything for themselves and understand it all. Brain doesn't stop developing until 25. So why not then? Maybe they're a little slow so let's go 30. Or maybe they're really smart. So lets go 16. When IS the right time to teach someone important life themes? What age do we teach them to read ? To spell? To write ? To teach them right from wrong ? We teach them at a young at because once they get older people like you who tell parents how they should raise their kid get in their ear and tell them lies and nonsense. All in Hope's of corrupting their mind YOUR way. You're not for the child's freedom to decide. You're just against THIS choice for their child. If it aligned with your views of the world you'd be praising it not speaking out against it. I think you should go crawl back under your Nihilistic Controlling rock and learn to keep your opinion to yourself. When you have kids let them learn at 18 but send them around ONLY purely Christian schools and areas and see how you like it and if you'd still have the same opinion. In our world today we are persecuted for loving and believing in christ and spreading his word. The Majority in mainstream media and people are ANTI Christian. So if we let them go off like you demand they'll be corrupted by the world's shitty, terrible Anti Christian message. Which IS undeniable. You see it everywhere. So. Have a kid. Send them around christian teachings only. Media that is christian only. TV shows, movies. Books that are Christian only and tell me how great a decision it is to let them turn 18 and make up their own mind. You're a fool. We will teach our children how to protect themselves spiritually and how to worship the lord and how to spread the word to save fools such a yourself who are blinded by fleshly living and materialistic things. Pessimistic, Nihilistic atheist attitudes that do nothing but bum everyone out and your non stop quest to prove what you think is right at the expense of your own soul. Guess what? With all the stones you throw and vines you whip us with, we will still through bloody worn bodies try and convince you to save yourself and protect your soul and hopefully be gifted Eternal Salvation.. I pray for you and all those with ridiculous attitudes. You've given up on the world because of all the pain and hurt you've felt and seen. There's more to it all then that. So who are the sons of God and the heavenly host in the Bible? And how do the stars and angels fit into all of this? Welcome to an exciting area of biblical theology that will bend your modern mind! This is just a brief summary, so check out our study notes: bit.ly/2uaFLFu for more. From Genesis 1 onward, the biblical authors present the sun, moon, and stars, also called the host of heaven (Genesis 1:16 and 2:1), as creatures who rule with delegated authority (Genesis 1:14-18), just like humans do on the land. These are the creatures being referred to in the phrase “host of heaven” throughout the Bible (1 Kings 22:19 and Luke 2:13). They are also implied in the divine title Lord of hosts (i.e. “Lord of all creatures, heavenly and earthly,” see 2 Samuel 6:2, Psalm 24:10, and Isaiah 6:5 for helpful examples). These heavenly beings are distinct from angels, which means “messenger,” because their job is not to communicate messages. Rather, this group is described as God’s throne-room staff team. They perform many roles and go by many titles; they are the sons of God or host of heaven who celebrate God’s decisions (Job 38:4-7), dialogue about his policies (Job chs. 1-2 and 1 Kings 22:19-23). Moses and the prophets tell us that some of these beings were behind the rebellion of Babylon in Genesis 11 (Deuteronomy 32:7-1 and Isaiah 14:1-23), where they lured the nations into worshiping them, leading to corruption and injustice (Deuteronomy 4:19-20 and Psalm 82). These are the spiritual powers that Jesus confronted in his mission to bring God’s Kingdom (Luke 4:1-13 and 10:17-20), and when Jesus was raised from death, he assumed authority over all of these powers (Matthew 28:18-20 Ephesians 1:18-21). Jesus’ victory over these powers will be completed when he returns to do away with the ultimate enemy: death itself (1 Corinthians 15:22-27). So the divine council is a really important biblical theme that helps us understand the cosmic significance of the story of Jesus and the Kingdom of God.

I don’t know where I can interact with you guys, but I have a question that I hope can be answered with the Bible. *Why does God give humans freedom of choice?* That’s how we make bad decisions. How we fall into temptation and sin. So why doesn’t God rule completely over us? Humans can’t obviously take care of even themselves but if God took away freedom of choice he could keep us holy and secure and wouldn’t have to deal with our rebellions.
@DailyBreadwithJesseSnow5 жыл бұрын
@@illusionfaderr5394 I asked a pastor this same question once. His answer was very satisfying. Having the gift of parables, he answered this way. The Lord is like a good man. Who seeks for a wife who loves Him. He is willing to both wait and chase after her. Being a good man, He will not take her, if she is not willing. He will court Her showing His love. You see, we humans have a small view of love and peace. God is eternal. To rule over us, would be to take us, as if we had no dignity. Rape us and force us into slavery. I know the word whore is gross. But that's the point. He will not treat us like the concubine. He will treat us like the bride of promise.

Beautiful analogy! You're totally right with one exception: evil is disgusting and ugly, it's only wears a guilded mask. You can peek behind that mask and see what it really looks like. The problem lies in the blinders the world wears. They don't see a mask, they see beauty. We see the mask and the face behind it which is the fruit Jesus mentions (judge a tree, right?).
