Thank you! 🙏 I think I wouldn’t learn Koine Greek if not for this KZbin channel. It is a gift from God!

Thank you wholeheartedly, Angela. If all the language teachers used this methodology, we would be able to learn any language in no time; language courses would more efficient than they usually are. Biblical languages deserve the best pedagogy to be taught, since the Word of God came to the world through them. Blessings.

Thank you Angela. I've taught myself to count to 100 in New Testament Greek while swimming. Five days a week I swim 100 x 25m lengths in a swimming pool and count in New Testament Greek. I'm probably the only lane swimmer in Wales that counts the number of lengths they swim in ancient Greece. Thanks to you Angela 😊

That is an excellent way to pass the time! 🤣. It is hard enough to keep track of how many laps I have swum in English! If I ever get back to swimming laps, I will try Greek!

@@AlphawithAngela I also sometimes have to think what lap I've just swam. But I found that by counting laps in Greek I usually know what lap number I'm swimming.

You are a very good teacher of Greek, when I tried to study it before it seemed to me such an arid language with so many grammatical rules, but you make it look very lively and organic.

I just didn't quite understand what you said in 16:01. Was it: ὤ μᾰθηταί, τί μαθητής σήμερον? What does it mean?
@AlphawithAngela
@AlphawithAngela Жыл бұрын
It is just an introduction to the summary of what was learned in the lesson. You will understand it in future lessons. There will always be one or two things that are not explained that hint at what is to come next and will be explained in future lessons.

It's ήμερον - today. From ήμερα - day (learned in a previous lesson), so the phrase means "O students, what did you learn today?" Though we haven't learned any verbs yet... 😕
