I've been smoking pot for 40 years and I'm now 64. As long as you don't mix it with alcohol or any other drugs, you're not going to be impaired. I would recommend it for depression and anxiety.

Some people will say "but it's intoxicating, just pray to Jesus to take away your suffering". Well, that's very easy for them to say that when they don't live with that suffering and pain every day. Yes, James is a good example of someone being patient with their suffering, and we should be patient with our suffering, but this is not as simple as a mere limp. And yes, God CAN take the pain away and heal those medical afflictions, but sometimes He DOESN'T, and those people who push prayer so hard as the only solution just DO NOT understand that. They don't understand that sometimes God doesn't take it all away and heal somebody. So when that happens, then it comes down to either using pharmaceutical drugs (Ancient Greek witchcraft) or a plant (ppl say the plant is witchcraft). And then they'll say anything to say that somebody in this predicament is full of pride if they don't want to give it up. Honestly, those Pharisees who say that - yeah that's right I called them Pharisees, if it applies to anybody who reads this then cry about it - they can be Satan's guests since they want to be like that. They want to promote using ancient Greek witchcraft pharmacy drugs? The Word says they'll go to Hell, unless they repent.

I used to use all drugs in excess, I have stopped all of them, with very occasional backsliding, but recreational legality in mind. I have had what I consider great insight while reading the Bible after a couple puffs. I would smoke with Jesus in front of me, if he did not tell me that I was wrong to.

You haven't done much research on it. Marijuana is not healthy for you when abused on a daily basis. It has twice as much tar and toxins in it than cigarettes. Toadstool are natural too but if you eat one you will die. Just cause it grows in the ground don't mean its meant for human consumption.

I’ve had many last times. Many excuses to start smoking again. 2g vape gone in just a few days. The Spirit of Truth is calling me out of it. And my flesh is waring against it. Go ahead-try and stop just for fun, see if you can exercise self control for 30days. I haven’t reached 30 days waithout one drink. One bit of thc in my system. Im at least on day 12 of no thc. The craving wave sets have become distant and not as frequent or big. But it’s still there, the desire, like a tantalizing alluring lady, sweetly saying to me, just relax it’s not that bad, your not evil on it, it’s just to take the edge off… Then I say NOOOOO and my tantalizing lady turns into a red eyed vampire sharp teeth ugly monster, it says I’m coming for you and I’m going to devour you. Then I see it for it’s true nature. My own flesh. My own sin. It’s ugly. It’s strong. It’s intelligent. It will get its way the moment I go to sleep spiritually. Forgive yourself as best as you can and though I step each step in my own shame for not doing it sooner, I am winning against the enemy, and he will tear me down every step. Eyes on Jesus. I spitefully walk against my flesh. I hate what I’ve done to my relationship with the Holy Spirit.

I mean, it was the government that made it illegal in the first place, and got the church to speak badly about the plant itself. It's been used as a medicine for thousands of years and there's a recipe using weed in the bible. It was just mistranslated purposefully and used as an excuse to be against non-white/poor immigrants during the late 20s- and throughout the great depression who brought multiple forms of the plant with them. Read Exodus 30: 22-23. This is the verse where Kaneh Bosm is mistranslated as calamus instead of cannabis to hide the truth and push a narrative on the public that using the plant is a sin along with other propaganda. The people of the U.S. have been brainwashed and the idea of it being an illegal substance spread throughout the world. Look up the history of cannabis as a resource and medicine to actually learn the truth instead of believing the racist and false ideas surrounding it.

Same. I agree with it destroying peoples lives but it radically transforms peoples lives for the better coming off of much worse drugs like heroine. Plenty of arguments to support either side. I don’t believe everything is objective as he says in this sermon. I believe everything is objective as well as subjective. Hence free will and our abilities to discern right and wrong. It’s objective only when put under a certain standard. With weed I could be the same as I am sober. Believe me I have acted sober while high out of mind and nobody batted an eye. I’m not saying that’s okay I’m just saying. There’s a time and place and a reason for doing anything. It is up to each individual to discern the situation and know what to do according to the word and it’s teachings.

Jesus really is a walk and relationship with Him and His word and prayer. My relationship with Jesus; because of the make up I am (I love to get a little buzzed too much), Jesus says to me hey bro your starting to live life for someone else and not me(whenever I start to go off into the deep)…and it’s harder every time to come back without shame. So I make for myself a fence to not pass. Unfortunately my fence says don’t even drink one drink if you can manage it (because I love the effect drink or medicinal so.) Can someone help me understand why it is said by some people that growing and providing / selling weed is a sin? Does not God grow and provide weed? It just comes down to what you do with it, right? Dear Pastor, how would you know what pain relief is? You may know good and well. You are a man making a call about medicine that you have never used. Being an antisocial genius could be as bad as a drug habit. Most people do not read so much that they can’t relate to people. They read just enough. People can use a medicine to the point they don’t relate to people. Use is NOT the issue. Abuse is and is the only issue. Abuse is perpetuated in the music surroundings of low level people. Again people are uninformed. There is so much more to Cannabis than Marijuana and smoking it. People can use tinctures, edibles, or even topicals to introduce the needed cannabinoids for the relief. Hemp is also part of the game with Delta-8 THC, CBD, CBN, CBG, HHC and all these canabinoids that also have to be part of the discussion.

Okay what is this guy babbling on about? Is he talking about faith? or is he talking about law? One of the major major story points of the whole Bible is how men's laws and men's rules are often very much in conflict with faith in God and how that faith is practiced and sometimes we have to turn our backs on man's law to be able to practice faith as God has instructed.
