You said it could mean "stationed, or caused something to stand". This also includes the idea of "appointed" (stationed). העמיד Biblical Greek is exactly the same. The word the means TO SET something down ιστημι, is the same verb or root used for appoint someone for a particular office. Having learned both languages, I find is compelling how structurally they are so similar, not in sound or how they look, but the morphology of the vocabulary. For instance, the Binyanim system has something similar in NT Greek, i.e. there are verbs which have a simple meaning like QAL in Hebrew (PAAL) and then there are causative verbs sharing the same root, then passive of course etc.

Thanks for the video.. Just one doubt.. How is heth pronounced? In some books it is pronounced as 'h'. In other books it is pronounced as 'k'.

Shalom שלום The letter ח is pronounced like the CH from BACH (you know the name of Johann Sebastian Bach) I don't think there is another word in English with the same sound. It is a guttural sound that may be difficult to pronounce. I will do a video on how to properly pronounce each letter of the Hebrew alphabet soon. The H pronunciation is for the letter ה - as h in the word Hay The K pronunciation is for the letters ק and כּ / ךּ (with the Dagesh)
