I have been searching for godly based guidance on dating and stumbled across this. Much needed. 🙌🏽 I too am an intimacy junkie but am trying so hard to be a chain breaker. In these times a chivalrous, God centered man is almost extinct or just unavailable. I know things will happen in Gods perfect timing but it’s good to gain fresh perspective on the dos and don’ts because in today’s society dating is all completely wonky. Thank you for this. Joyce Meyer had 5 dates and was married in 3 months. And they been married over 50 years. Longer than anyone preaching the gospel. You can date forever trying to learn someone and never know them. Get married after years of dating and divorce. Trusting God is the glue to glorify God in a non ending-relationship of marriage

you don't know if her marriage is happy , no one knows what goes on behind closed doors, a lot of Christian marrieds will stay in a toxic marriages because of there faith ( especially women ) the church is more about saving the marriages then the happiness of anyone person or any 2 people in it. and could you imagine what that would do to her image if she would divorce or concede that she was in a bad marriage?

I’m sorry if you have had bad experiences or wrong examples of love. But you are right. Take care of your family and yourself if you aren’t ready and with time and prayer I wholly believe god will open your heart again. Praying for you ! Proverbs 18:1 says this "Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeketh and intermeddleth with all wisdom." in the KJV and seems to be quite different to your version's meaning. It is worth dissecting and studying as well.

My spiritual mom family could not see what God was doing regarding the marriage he was given her. Most people spoke against it before they were married. His family thought she was after his money. Her family thought he wasn’t gonna be her husband because of salvation wasn’t manifested. Everyone was wrong. He turned down sex when they got engaged. They stayed celibate until marriage about six months. And his relationship with God was manifested because of they marriage. Her call in God was manifested because of him going to a church and she followed her husband.

I like this video I like this video I like what this pastor teaches but I will also add to this video balance you can't just trust everyone with your relationships people are very evil and there are jealous people out there who do not like to see you in love and they will tell you anything to try to divide you and your spouse because they don't have love I think the key word is be very Discerning who you get information from and keep a healthy balance off public dating and private dating and always keep the Holy Spirit In the Mix and you'll find out that you'll be in the right place

I’ve never read it in the Holy Scriptures-just many words taught by preachers. The Lord does not mention it in his word or pull up anyone for sex before marriage. So, I say, why sweat about it? Enjoy your freedom in God.

No what he is saying is know your limits when dating. If you believe that you shouldn’t be having sex before marriage than be careful about the situations you put yourself in with someone you are dating. Like makeout for more than a few minutes that can lead to sex or sleeping over. Basically trying to stop temptation. That can look different for each person. Communicate with the person you are with whether abstaining from sex is something they agree with and what’s their limits and yours as far as temptation

@@CanvaProfessional Nowhere in the Bible has Jesus specifically declared no sex before marriage (Corinthians is written by a man not Jesus' words). Also yes it is subjective. And not everyone can or wants to marry. But guess what? God made us sexual beings. So as long as it is in the mature context it is ok. If you cannot hold yourself back if you even hug or kiss, you have a self control issue (self control is a fruit of the spirit. learn it)

utlie leila Valentin I would pray about why you messed up and what trauma/beliefs have you had that formed you to behave in these manners your messed un in. Pray for healing for YOU and for the person you heart. Keep watching videos like this, study the word and possible Christian counseling to have insight on behaviors you have. When you feel like your in a place where you are healthy mentally and mature for a relationship try again. Trust me the person you have heart will see the light and be drawn to you! We are human and we fail but we pick ourselves up and try better. Don’t do this person a disservice and go and try to be back with them when YOU aren’t ready and healed

I messed up my relationship. I’ve been wanting to work on myself and putting God in the center of my life again. It’s so hard. I keep praying to God to give me another chance someday because there’s no other girl I’d want to be with.
