@@rolandoaragay8116 you are welcome. The email i gave you is directly from the manufacturer. If your sub is out of warranty then it will cost you $180 for the crossover. The crossover will have 2 years warranty. Very easy to replace . Have fun

Hi there! Great video. You can't find videos on Acoustech that often. I have the same woofer. Mine just stop producing any sound. Everything turns on fine, I pulled out the woofer itself and did the 9V test and it is fine. It appears it must be the amp. Fuse is fine, it just simply stopped making sound. :-( BIC just quoted me $180 with shipping today for the amp. Thinking if I should go for it. Any suggestions?

Hello and thank you for stopping by. That is the exactly the reason I created this video because i have not found anything related to my issue. I am a bic fan because it sounds good and powerful. I ended up replacing the amp because I couldn’t find any other subs with the same output for $180. I am afraid I cannot give you a good suggestion.

I just took out the speaker/woofer disconnected it, connected it back again and it started working 😂. Then it stopped, then it worked, you get the idea...so, amp is fine, woofer is fine, it seems to be just the wires that are connected to the speaker...they seem loose. It stops producing sound, I push them back in and it starts working again. Pretty annoying; however, I'm glad I found out before paying $180 for an amp I don't need. I guess I just need to find a way to fix that issue with the wires.

@@Coamex can try to clamp the wires or solder it back. It is easy to fix that problem. Glad your issue is an easy one!!

I ended up ordering a new woofer from BIC America. $90 + shipping. Easy replacement, and it started working immediately. I have the old one to repair when I feel like dealing with it. 😅

I'm hoping you can help me out man. I tried to remove my amp but it won't come out. Any tips?

@@HOTWADOFMEAT hello. There are screws in the back of the amp. After removing it, u should be able to pull it out. Unless you are referring to the two wires connecting to the subwoofer? Those wires has a clip. Make sure to press and it will release then pull out. Don’t try to pull it out without releasing it then you will mess up the subwoofer

@@HOTWADOFMEAT u can use a flat head screw driver to see if you ply it out around the edges. Be gentle and not too forceful

Was the subwoofer working, but producing zero bass? My PL-200 all of the sudden is not producing any bass even though it is getting power.

Hi Jamie. Thank you for stopping by. The issue my uncle had was the sub does not have any power. We replaced the burnt fuse and it kept on burning everytime we put in a new one . Does your produce any sounds? U can touch the sub wire with ur thumb and it should produce some noise. This is to eliminate the fact your receiver subwoofer output is bad

@@disfiguredloafers also check your avr to see subwoofer may be off? You can go in the avr settings and look for sub level. Increase it and see if the sub makes noise during the test
