I graduated high school in 1998. I know exactly what you mean. We had the world of head of us and this was one of our Anthem songs. I only wish I could go back in time and make amends with people I've lost since then. If only we had a time machine but we don't so we have to listen to these songs to remember the days when we had it all. ;)

Way back in high school, my friends and i used to sing this song. Nasa kolehiyo na kami ngayon, yung iba nasa ibang lugar para mag-aral at may kanya-kanya na din kaming pinagkakaabalahan. We weren't nearly as aware of what was going on in the world then as we are now, but I definitely wouldn't want to go back to the "old days". (Still a great song, this, though.)

Up to now, this song reminds me of him. He told me this is his fav song, he even requested me to sing this for him, but fate really be playing sick tricks, he left without even hearing me singing this for him. I just hope that one day, if he ever come back I'll welcome him with this.
