I have had my poochon, Oliver, for 2 1/2 years. He's the most amazing dog we've ever owned. Oliver is now a trained service animal. The video is right...the poochons are sweet, loyal, super smart and adorable. He's wonderful with children too - they always ask to pet him. My friends tease me about stealing him because he's such a fantastic dog.

Got 1, Clara is 9weeks old poochon. My daughter and son is allergic to dogs and cats. But Clara is exceptional. Although Clara can’t give them kisses coz her saliva gave them rashes on the face.

I have a black and white Poochon she is adorable gets with people and dogs; I am a disabled mum who is in an electric wheelchair she’s not fazed about any equipment I have and stays out the way of my chair she sits on my lap and love cheeky ride she is such good company for me , not demanding at all I recommend this breed to anyone 🐶🐶🐶

I miss My bichon poo, he recently passed away at age 16 and I enjoyed him every year, born 2/20/2007-3/26/2023, i took care of him until the end, giving him sips of water with a spoon, keeping him dry when he became incontinent etc.,he would not take medication no matter how many ways I tried, i did a burial so now i can visit his gravesite, he was my best friend

We adopted two Bichon Poodles we found through PetFinder. They both chose a person in the family that they were more loyal to than the others. Both lived very long lives, loved being brushed, hated having their nails clipped and teeth brushed. They had different ears and tails from each other. One had a short & the other a long tail with a crook at the end. We had no idea how great we had it until we took in another dog from a friend who could no longer keep it. We suddenly had dog hair everywhere, something we’d never experienced.

I have a bichon poodle name Lucy. She is absolutely the best dog I've ever had and very loyal. She was a bit hard to house train.Took about 9 months to be fully house broken. She's also very picky about her food and likes to have company while she eats. LOL!😊 Has anyone else experienced these same problems? What was your solution?

My little Poochon passed away in September, she was only 6. But I do wanna correct some things you said!! First off, I think 1k is a big exaggerated for a Poochon, we payed less than 500 for her lol. Also, while she was the sweetest angel, I really don’t think the Poochon is a good breed for families with young kids. They can be really energetic and can be very impatient/snappy. It’s probably best for a family with older kids. But you’re right on exercise!! Our Poochon needed her daily walk every day or she’d get passive aggressive.

@@leacastori1138 I was in 5th grade when we got her so I wasn’t huge on the training part, but I can tell you the video is right, they are very smart. She was pretty easy to train, and only had occasional accidents in the house (either from not being able to go on walks or we didn’t notice her needing to go out). It was easy to transition from puppy pads to outside, and we used doggie bells so she could let us know when she needed to do her business. She slept with my parents, and they told us is she would get up at night, and if it was to use the bathroom it was very rare. She also slept through storms and fireworks, and she even slept through an earthquake!. If waking you up to do their business is huge problem. I’d just try to keep them from drinking or eating close to bedtime. Is there anything else I can answer for you about Poochons? I can’t give you a professional answer but I can give you personal experience :)

Dog prices have gone up drastically since covid. Most places are asking for at least $1500. They are pretty energetic. My sister had one and I currently have one and both were great with kids. Never snapped or growled at anyone.

I paid 3000 cause everyone was going puppy crazy during the pandemic. And my dog died that's why I was looking for one. The price was insane but everyone else posting ads were scammers asking an upfront fee then will "ship" them...lol yea sure.

A semi detached so she's attached to another house beside her which means she can hear all their noise and spent 1.3 million...when you think of million dollar home you think mansions of even small mansions not a tiny house not much bigger then my apartment. I did reserve Google search the same ppl were selling at 1500 but doubled the price during the pandemic. There was a high demand for puppies unfortunately!

@@IvanaSantini yeah my friend told me house in Toronto is very expensive esp to the city. My friend bought a house to Erin, it’s more than $1.7m. The house is huge and the lot too, coz it’s a farm. But I’m kinda scared to their place coz it’s surrounded with tress and houses are far from each other. There’s a mini poodle for sale in my area but for me it’s expensive for $2,500. So I search online and Facebook. Fortunately found this Puppylovenewyork, made a call and hopefully everything is on progress.

@@alijahgrenn2337 I found one in New York too but all this was happening during kovid so they weren't allowing puppies across the border until they were a certain age and I really wanted a baby that grow up with me. If not I totally was open to rescuing an older dog. But if I was getting a puppy I want to be an actual puppy not a 7 to 9 month old for a crazy price anyway and I don't get what I want lol so I waited and found my guy he's so cute.

Yeah that’s a lot of money. I’m from Long Island too. I just reserved a puppy bichpoo. The website where I reserved my puppy is called ABCpuppy .com they’re legit. They are selling them for 2,500 and they have other breeders that are cheaper, just check their website. Since they are located in Texas, you can go and pick up the puppy or you can use a service called TLC flight nanny where you pay and they deliver the puppy to you at the airport. My puppy will be ready 2/26, I’m super excited. You can also follow centralpups on Instagram. They have different breeds and you can purchase the puppy through their website with free delivery but the puppies range from 2,500-3,700 ( usually are for goldendoodles but for Maltese and other toy breeds, they go from 2,500 to 3,300). I hope that helps. I was looking for a puppy for a while now and finally reserved one. Good luck!

I had a pure Bichon who passed away at 13 last summer I got her for just 250$ but I always thought she was mixed with poodle so when she died I was so devastated I wanted a similar dog. So I Google it and I was like "nooo I hate these dogs!!" Loll but I just hated the way they were groomed. I was lucky mine had short hair so no one tried to give her that afro puff on top lol but then she made me fall in love with the breed. Literally best dog I have ever had! And you got to rescue which is awesome!! How old is she now?
