This pedal power bicycle blender allows you to make your own fruit smoothy using your bicycle. It uses a 12 Volt DC blender available online. This same setup can be used to charge a battery PowerPack which will both store your energy and convert it to 110V AC which is the same voltage that you will find coming out of your wall outlet in your home. Using this bike generator with the PowerPack you will be able to plug in cell phone chargers, laptop, tv, radio, lighting, wheat grinder, hand mixer, anything up to 300 Watts.

Your 400W grow lamp can be powered from 12 Volt batteries through an AC inverter. The inverter would draw about 33.3 Amps from the 12 Volt batteries to perform at the 400 Watt level. If you are running the 400 lamp for 18 hours the total Amp hours you will need are 18x33.3=~600. A bike generator puts out average of 9 Amps. So you need 4 bike generators just to keep the lamp lit (No battery connected). Add five 100W solar panels and that would give you 8 Amps each more to charge batteries.

@GirlWomanDead You can charge a 12 Volt battery or a 12 Volt portable powerpack liked the Duracell powerpack and use that energy wherever and however you want. It takes from 1 to 5 hours to charge a 28 Amp Hour battery depending on how hard to you ride. The faster you ride the faster the battery charges. Most people hook the battery up through a blocking diode as shown in my other KZbin video kzbin.info/www/bejne/emizZGubiLqfoas

@nnnnnn7678 This generator is rated for 12 to 24 Volts DC output. So it will operate in that range. If you want the voltage to be higher then you can use a generator that is rated for 48 volts or 80 Volts dc.

Wow that is very cool, every home should have something like this is possible to convert an exversise bike into a pedal gen. Something that could boil the kettle and charge laptops ect. Also the smaller the better as its likly to be never needed.

Exercise bikes can indeed be adapted to with the same type of dynamo / generator. It requires a rubber roller on the shaft of the dynamo, and a custom mounting bracket that will attach to your exercise bike. You can connect up a battery powerpack to the output of the dynamo so that your energy will be stored for later use around the home like lighting, cell phone charging, computer power, or tv.

@radicalfish16 Yes, but then you would not be able to charge a battery or store your energy if you needed to. That's the only advantage.

I guess it's a type of blender that can be helpful when there is a local or global crisis of electric energy. And this is also a blender for car, when we are in travel. I wonder if this blender is as effective as a power blender (high-rotation blender)

you'd increase efficientcy by connecting the wheel directly to the blender without the generator.
