Very cool! I love watching bicycle and motorcycle trekking videos, and this one is great since it starts near where I live. Thanks for sharing!

This is awesome! I've tried to mount my camera to my handlebars (I assume that's what you've done), but my videos are so bouncy...is there anything special you did to the mount or your bike to keep it so steady?

Please let me know what route you took going from Austin to the DFW area. I’m looking for some scenic routes connecting the two cities. Thanks, and awesome job on the video BTW!

I wouldn't recommend the route I took between Austin and North Texas...since I got lost a couple of times. I wanted to reach Granbury, but around Fort Hood...I got lost a couple of times. It's a scenic route but very rural. Some of the towns are separated by 30-40 miles.

kslifka That actually sounds nice, with GPS on my side I’m not sure it would be a problem.

Awesome! I considered continuing north to Duluth or even Canada, but I was running out of time. It's quite the experience. You'll run into a lot of great people when they find out what you are doing. One thing you'll find out is that you remember everything, but you just don't exactly remember where or when. I wrote a blog along the way that you can find here. kellystream (dot) com/category/bike-ride/
