what position do you fix the magnet and sensor?? would make a massive difference to readings......isnt explained properly.....unless i missed summat.... the nearer the axle the higher the speed reading.

The magnet gives just a pulse signal to the sensor so it does not matter if the sensor is a little bit different potion. Just make sure it not touching the wheel & keep it as possible closer to the sensor.
