Changing tubes on a Marathon Plus tires or replacing the tire itself is always a challenge for me. I just used 3 tubes to replace my studded tire into my regular Schwalbe summer tire. I kept getting pinch flats. Finally, on the 3rd attempt looks like I got it. Thanks to you amigo for showing me to start at the opposite side of the valve that way theres a room (I pushed back the valve) for me to use tire levers when I get to the valve without damaging the tube. Thats the biggest difference on my last try and it seemed to work. Just hoping no flat tire when I wake up for work tomorrow morning. I use Schwalbe Marathon Tires on my gravel bike to commute

Very good, you made seating the tire with the tire levers so much easier. I had used just my hands to seat a 20” tire, and it was very hard!!

Agree with you on the Schwalbe Marathon tires being highly puncture resistant. Have some and have been very pleased. Did get one flat on them though, but had 5 or 6 on the tire brand it replaced (same road but even less mileage). I've found an effective technique to mounting my Schwalbe Marathon tires. With a little practice it's actually not hard at all when done. Of course I need a tire tool to get it off the rim, but I can reinstall it quickly and easily without tools now. When you put the tire on just make sure the bead of the other side of the tire is in the center and bottom of the wheel rim. There's a few youtube videos out there on this technique.

Added a deraiuler extender and a narrow wide chainring as you suggested no more dropped chain!

my local bike shop said not to use tyre levers when putting tyre back on as it can cause puncture ?

Always try to put the tire on by hand. For extremely difficult tires you can use a tire lever to put the tire on. You have to be careful. I have done this with multiple times. If you're not experienced have an extra tube on hand just in case, you pinch the tube.

Which tire lever do you recommend? I’m trying to google what I think you are saying but I’m not finding anything. I have Marathon Plus Tour tires. Do you recommend Pedro’s tire levers or any other levers for this tire?

I recommend Bontrager Tire Lever Set which is sold at Trek Store. The brand 50 strong bike tire lever is good sold at wall mart. I have also been using the Kool Stop Tire Bead Jack for 700 X 28 size tires and smaller width tires. Pedros is a strong lever but square shaped making it difficult to slide the tire on. What country are you living in? I like that people from around the world watch my videos.
